Especially in his prime, he is one the greatest wrestlers ever for TNA. Excellent heel, very much like HHH. I do believe he could have jumped ship and been as big as Scott Hall, Nash, etc. A great all around performer.

I've been sour on a lot of modern wrestlers over the last 10 years, but Bobby Roode is a guy I'd take in any era.

Maybe it's because he's been in TNA and has only had garbage story lines to work with, but he never hit me as the huge potential star that everyone else thinks he is. Just seems like a good hand with a body.

Vince probably see's that he's 38 and has nothing to give the WWE. Meanwhile he'll be handing out contracts left and right for guys over 45.

Who knows? But I will say at one time I thought Roode & Storm were going to be huge. No disrespect to TNA, but they fumbled both guys terribly. Lost interest in both, but would still love to see them have a run in NXT.

Yeah, I don't see Bobby Roode coming to WWE/NXT. He had a chance to go in 2009 when they were interested in him and Storm, they both didn't take it. He's closer to 40 than he is 30. Yeah WWE did sign Sting and the Dudleys, who are in their 40's and 50's. Difference is, the Dudleys are a draw. Sting is a draw. Bobby Roode, is not that big of a draw of the Dudleys and Sting combined.

The WWE would ruin him, He's perfectly fine in TNA.

Mix Shane Douglas with Triple H and you get Bobby I always thought. He would have been great in WWE!

I had a thread on here about a month ago asking the same thing.
Bobby Roode was MADE for the WWE style of wrestling. Triple H could have cloned him into a little Hunter. And at one time, Beer Money could have been TNA's answer to DX. Storm as Shawn, Roode as Hunter.
It's a shame the IC Title and WWE Title will never be on Bobby Roode, he would have made both belts look great!

Is anybody perfectly fine in TNA anymore? EC3 says he's fine. He's doing pretty great there. But at this point doing great in TNA was like doing great in WSX. Even then, more people get MTV than Destination Anerica.

It's a shame the IC Title and WWE Title will never be on Bobby Roode, he would have made both belts look great! Bobby Roode and James Storm WERE tailor made for WWE...like 4-5 years ago. But now with WWE cherry picking big name indy stars, "the WWE style" is no longer in trend. People may say they want a guy like Bobby Roode in WWE...but then once he actually gets there, they'll be disappointed and call him "overrated" once he's in the ring with the likes of Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, etc.
