I apologize if this has been asked too many times before, still kind of new here. I'm looking to commission a custom Hollywood Hogan. No artistic ability here. I figured I would try and gather the parts for it, since I already have some Hogans. I've got DM, Elite, and HOF Hogan. Would anyone have any ideas what parts to use to make a solid custom? I was thinking of a '96 or '97 Hollywood Hogan. If there are parts that I don't have yet, that you think would be perfect, feel free to let me know. Thanks a lot for your advice.

I used the DM calves, boots, and kneepads on a HOF Hogan body.

I too was wondering what would be a good start for a Hollywood. I was thinking of doing both a ring gear and street version (The latter to go with my Hall/Nash BP) and using E34 Hogan as a base for the street version and repaint his boa, bandanna and sunglasses, swap out the hands if need be, and get a Ralph's shirt and belt.
As for a ring gear Hollywood, again, I'd likely reuse the Ralph's belt and shirt and repaint the bandanna and stubble, but what scares me are the legs and boots. The boots I figured I could use the R3 boots provided they fit on Elite legs, but I am kind of intimidated by the lightning bolts on the legs.
I'm kind of glad I don't have to start my own thread here because I was going to ask the same question as OP. Sorry if I hijacked it buddy.

@darthvander how did you make those boots. Not sure if this was directed at me or not since Darth Van Vader didn't post anything ha ha. But I'll assume this was directed at me since I posted photos. The boots are DM Hogan boots with decals I made of Hulk's airbrushed face and the nWo logo. Then I painted the flames on of course.

As for the street gear Hulk, I'd say you have the right idea. Paint his bandanna black, sunglasses & boa white, and add a beard. I'd probably paint on black fingerless gloves myself but not necessary. The only thing that sucks is his tattoos aren't accurate for the older look. As for ring gear Hulk, your easiest bet is to start with a HOF Hogan body. I do a calves and boots swap with DM Hogan and I add his knee pads as well. Look up pictures on Google of lightning bolts and practice on another figure using something very thin like a toothpick until you feel comfortable painting it on your Hogan. The HOF bandanna is removable and it looks way more like WCW Hogan in the face once his beard stubble is painted on.

I was going to change out the hands with probably a basic Shield figure or for fingerless, maybe Undertaker?
HoF Hogan would be the best way to go, if I could find a couple for cheap (One to keep as pre-NWO WCW and the other for the custom) since my Target has been slacking last I went. Thanks for the tips on painting, though, I never thought about toothpicks. What do you use for a clear coat though? Mod Podge or another clear coat?
