Just change it to an LED version of the New Generation Era stage, that would look cool

Hell yes their generic, boring as hell stages are just anothe thing with the current product that lacks personality. Nothing feels special anymore raw rolls into smackdown, smackdown rolls into a ppv and then repeat with most things being instantly forgettable. Nothing feels special anymore just look at some of the stages they had during the attitude and ruthless aggression era, I know people may think a stage is not a big deal, but it sure as hell helps make an event feel more special.

It would be a waste of time. Like changing a belt design, it's something that doesn't really matter outside of a short-lived "oh, cool." By week three, nobody would care about the new stage and it'd be back to so-and-so is getting buried, someone else isn't getting buried enough, and the seventeenth boring rematch in a non-feud. A new stage would be great if it also came with a creative and formatting overhaul. But a new stage on the same old dull product is just redundant, a band-aid on a decapitation.

Keep it for the TV shows but have a unique stage for the PPV's (Cell walls for HIAC, Car's for Fastlane etc.).

I've hated the HD stage since the moment I saw it.

Just change it to an LED version of the New Generation Era stage, that would look cool Great idea honestly. I would love if they took the 2001 stage and added the minitron under the main screen. Anything is better then what we have right now.

I always imagined it was just a major cost cut and they've reformatted "PPV" now so they aren't what they used to be. It's all part of the idea of loving the brand, not individuals.

The look of the main screen should change to something that is not square, they need to have those to reflect the backstage segments but they should have more than one. The stage itself should be a more modern product along the lines of an HD version of the Wrestlemania 20 stage. WWE for whatever reason does not use a lot of the available big production technology that concerts and other productions use.

I agree as well that stage has been far too bland for too long. Even NXT changes up its small stage for TakeOvers.

Yes please! When it comes to the stage, I have always felt less is more. The current setup is now stale and I feel a simplified entrance stage would look so much better. I'm not saying go back to just a regular curtain but something along the lines of what NXT is currently using. Then, they would be able to bring out something a little extra for PPV's which I really miss. I remember as a kid I would get so excited for upcoming PPV's not only for the matches, but for what they came up with for the stage.

It has changed... This is the original HD stage from 2008: And this is the current HD stage from 2012: The only thing they kept was the mini-tron. However, if they changed it to something more like the NXT Brooklyn set: I'd have an erection all the way through Raw every week. I even like how much closer it is to the ring because of the SummerSlam set behind it.

I'll never forget the days when a small part of me was actually excited to see what the Stage was going to look like at the next upcoming PPV. The amount of effort they used to put in was so good, it really gave it that PPV feel having something totally different to what we get each week on weekly programming. I get that the LED concept is efficient, and they can be very creative with it with all of the graphics and lighting to really personalize each Supestars entrance, but even the PPV Sets are virtually identical to Raw now. I think the last thing on their mind is changing the Raw setup right now though.

I hate those stupid led sets, there's no creativity in them but I understand why they use them instead of making physical sets. I remember when I used to try and guess what the stages would look like for the ppv, now it's more like it'll look like a rectangle with whatever logo they're using.... I guess it's one of those things we have to get used to in this era. Oh and please do something about those white ropes, they're boring.

I used to get genuinely excited about seeing the set ups for every PPV but I've come to terms with the fact they're sticking with what that got. However... I wish they'd atleast change the colour of the ropes from time to time. The white ropes have never done anything for me personally.

I agree totally about having a new set made.
I don't like how the raw and smackdown arena's are both identical with the exact same white coloured ring ropes, also the ramp and aisle way are the same aswell.
I miss the good ol' smackdown days, when the ropes were blue, and you had that big silver fist above the titan tron.
