The better question is who would get the WWE license. And my vote goes to Enterbay or Hot Toys. I am longing for the day we see WWE in 1/6th. And yes I have my Hulk Hogan on pre-order for the large bad toy shop That said, Mattel make very sweet figures, but like someone said, any of those other company's wouldnt be worth their time. I would rather see them move to something else. Don't know what, I'm sure they could find something.

People seem to have forgotten what hypothetical means. The question is basically "Which wrestling promotion would you like Mattel figures from?". Either say one or say none. Granted, the title is misleading, but the post isn't. Damn.
I'll take TNA. Lots of guys I would want in the same style as my WWE figures. Angle and the Hardys specifically. I would take a Mike Tenay BAF in a heartbeat as well.

Mattel would rather make their own version of pro wrestlers ala Monster High for boys rather than picking up any of those companies to replace WWE. Like others said, WWE and Mattel is a strong relationship that both companies love and will continue as long as both stay profitable. Mattel loves a world recognized brand and WWE loves that the toys are sold just about everywhere. No one outside of diehard wrestling fans heard of those companies. TNA couldn't sell figures even with names like Hogan, Sting, and Jeff Hardy. I highly doubt NJPW and ROH would do any better.

If Mattel doesn't make WWE figures, I stop collecting wrestling figures in general. No vote. This

Some sort of 'Legends of Wrestling' line picking up guys without a WWE deal... Hulk Hogan as their main draw.
Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett, Dynamite etc plus a load of obscure ones WWE probably won't invest in. Think of the Legends of Wrestling games series.

I would think Barbie, Hot Wheels or even Monster High are their "crown jewels" over WWE.

I would think Barbie, Hot Wheels or even Monster High are their "crown jewels" over WWE. Monster High is outpacing Barbie and Hot Wheels in regular sales number. Barbie and Hot Wheels are finally showing their age. Even though we may not see it as that but WWE is very valuable to Mattel otherwise they wouldn't had did an early extension of their deal.

Another question would be if Wicked Cool Toys broke up with WWE, would they make a rival to the Mattel line?

Speaking in hypotheticals, NJPW would likely be the next step, ROH would be my pick, but none is the reality of the situation.

It's not impossible for Hot Toys to be able to do that. Look at Mcfarlane toys, they did the statues. It can workout for Hot Toys since them and Mattel are selling to different audiences. NECA toys not so much. I can't see something of an amazing figure with them. They can nail the head scan but not the clothes and accessories (things that come off or put on) for the figures. It also does help that they are stiff so no playing with them for kids or adults

Mattel and WWE wouldn't allow it If WCT is not bond by a WWE contract which stips they can't make figures that are similar to Mattel's, I think they would make the move. Not saying they will fight WWE for space in stores because even WWE got to fight to keep their section from being swallowed by brands like TMNT and Stars Wars/Marvel/Disney. Just a small spot like TNA's Jakks crap used to occupied.

I don't think Mattel would be interested in TNA, ROH, or NJPW.
TNA has proven it has a very small core audience and is currently on an extremely obscure channel, for the time being. TNA could find itself without TV at anytime, as the relationship with Destination America has been a disaster from the get go.
ROH was just cancelled from Destination America.
NJPW, is on an obscure channel as well, and their shows run on a very wide delay gap. By that I mean, the shows that air new every Friday are months and months old in regards to when the content was actually taped. I believe on the show, AJ Styes is still the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, despite losing it to Okada months ago in reality. They don't even show the matches in their entirety on TV in America, instead shilling that you can subscrible online to get full matches.
For a company like Mattel, it wouldn't make financial sense to produce figures for any of them, since they wouldn't make nearly enough money to make it worth the time and effort to produce.

Outside of figures I want Mattel to make more Bentley's Lexus's Subaru's and Rolls-Royce's for their Hot Wheels and Matchbox lines

Just a small spot like TNA's Jakks crap used to occupied. They definitely will be bound by a contract though. You can't have random companies rock up and make what they like. It will be part of Mattel's deal that they have exclusive rights to make action figures as we see them in stores. Other companies buy licenses for sundry items, like the scale rings, 31" figures etc
