This stuff is awesome, I love it my kids love it. Haters don't have to buy it or even post that you don't like. How negative are you that you would actually take a few seconds to type this sucks anyway. Just look at it , think to yourself, well that's not for me and go read something else. These are awesome toys. I have bought three of every cas and one ring. I have a full set, my two oldest boys both have a full set and they share the ring. And news flash ... These have better articulation than basics!

Who is the hip hop set? I see Tyson Kidd's hoodie and ear phones. I like these sets. I like having enchaement talent. My Hogan is a luchador called Senor Bombastico, he mainly jobs with Sin Cara.

Yeah, I know..and we all watch every gimmick set they come out with fail and get clearanced. Such a waste. Yep. We've all seen Flexforce, power slammers, super strikers, brawling buddies, double attack, slam city get clearanced. When will stores realize that collector-friendly items sell better then gimmicky kid stuff? Also, my cousin (who is 9 yrs old) loves WWE and he prefers elites. He hates all of the gimmicky stuff because he wants figures to move properly. Seriously, even kids prefer elites over gimmicky crap, just stop making it and use the budget to make accessory sets for elites. Next said it perfectly.. wfigs.proboards.com/post/5922317

As for my opinion, I think these things are great. They're articulated, and perfect characters for any kid/adult's figure fed. I am so glad Mattel jumped on the masher bandwagon, it was a good thing.

It gets a green light because retailers think that gimmick toys sell better. Its a well-known fact, retailers think that gimmicky stuff sells better. They would rather be selling "www ultimate attack Playset includes John Cena power slammer flex force super pack" than "adult collector series." They just don't think that collector-aimed products will do better than gimmicky stuff, and that's why he don't get accessory packs or belt packs. Yeah, I know..and we all watch every gimmick set they come out with fail and get clearanced. Such a waste. And we see Basic and Elites get clearanced, too. What about the Horsemen 4-pack at Target? Or the other Flashback figures that don't sell? I don't see you complaining about those. I have no problem with variety. I loved the Rumblers. Most of the other stuff I have passed on, but I don't hate them for existing.

These started off as a good idea but the initial outcome came out unimpressive. After seeing this, specifically the arm on Cena, it's time to put the fork in this line DOA RIP.

I do agree that these are great. I do plan on buying the Referee accessory pack, and the Sting pack when they hit retail. They've got the Kane pack with the generic head with the green hair at my local TRU, I'm just waiting for a sale to buy it, so I can use that as a jobber (I play with my figures just like every other grown man ) When I made my earlier post, I did say that they should use the budget to make accessory packs, not add budget to the elites. I just wish that they could make accessory packs with the budged used for the other gimmicky crap. Like belts packs, entrance gear packs, table/ladder/chair pack, announce table pack etc.

There are a few overproduced examples like the Horsemen pack or E26 Warrior or E33 JYD for example but that's not the same thing as flex force, rumblers, super strikers, power slammers, slam city etc. all being gimmicky lines that failed. Just pointing out that those sort of lines are doomed from the jump. If you like them that's fine but not enough kids do, and certainly you don't get the collector interest to help support those lines either.

It just sounds like you are mad when they make stuff you don't want. It's not all about you. But the internet certainly makes it easy for people to complain. If you don't want it, don't buy it - it's that easy.

Can anybody tell who that is in the Hip-Hop set on the back of the package? Is it another Cena?

This is just a place where we discuss what we like and don't like. But hey, maybe these CAWS will be the one gimmick line that finally sticks.

These things actually are selling very well and selling way more than any of the other gimmicky figures they've made. I love this kind of stuff and I'm pushing 40, haha.

These things are legitimately really cool. For kids, they can create their own custom guy for their feds. I would have LOVED something like that as a kid.
