I went to watch tv tonight but my tv would not turn.I checked to see if the tv was plugged in all the way and if all the wires were connected correctly(they were)but it still did nothing.Does anyone have advice on how to fix this and/or has this ever happened to you?Any advice is extremely appreciated.

It usually helps when you say what kind of TV you have. My knee jerk reaction for advice is "Buy a new one"

Did you try contacting Panasonic's support? Look at the sticker or whatever on the back of the TV to find out what model number it is and then use the Panasonic support website. They'd probably have a better idea than we would. It could be an internal power supply issue, it could be a fuse issue, could be any number of things. Panasonic would probably be better suited to walk you through potential fixes.

It could be the bulb if it's a DLP tv.
My bulb has blown out twice in 10 years. It's a fairly cheap and easy fix.

You can try unplugging it for a minute or so but tbh, I don't know if there is much you can do for a TV. Sorry dude.
How old is it? That night help gone us an idea of what could be wrong. Also you might want to see if there are any electronic repair shops left in your area.

Try changing the batteries in the remote. Try the "off" button on the TV itself. Hold it down if needed. If either of those options don't work, go ghetto & unplug it from the wall when you want to turn it off.

IDK. Google will help you quicker than we can.
In the meantime, like Word said, read a book. Preferably something by Hunter S Thompson or Chuck Palaniuk

There's only one logical answer: RKO it.

It's probably blown something inside it. It'll probably cost you just as much as the TV is worth to fix it so you'll probably have to buy a new one.

Did you try plugging it into an electrical socket?? That should help it work.

How do I know if the bulb has blown? Does the TV turn on but the screen just doesn't show anything? No the tv doesn't power on at all.I had it plugged into a power strip and then I plugged it in to an electrical outlet in the wall but it still won't turn.

DLP (rear projection), CRT (the old style they don't make anymore), Plasma, LCD, LED?
