I'm convinced Dixie is a hypnotist. Maybe the ride on the Dixie Train is just that good?

POP TV would be lucky to get iMPACT! on Fox Sports Net numbers.

A lot of negativity on here....
I'm going to hope that TNA's learned from prior mistakes & will produce a solid, coherent show beginning with the 1/5 Bethlehem tapings.......

I don't really think it's negativity. We just know what to expect from TNA at this point. Not to mention, ROH has grown to the point where they've effectively displaced TNA as the #2 company in America. So expecting TNA to do anything above mediocre now seems like it may be a stretch. Plus, they were putting on some amazing shows last year, and they still didn't move the needle.

I was once one of the biggest TNA fans on this board. Now they have disappointed me to a point where I feel nothing but apathy for them. SodaGuy, one of the biggest TNA fans I've ever seen, sold off all of his TNA merch and is done with it. They have no one to blame but themselves, and this is what they deserve. They've messed up time, after time, after time, after time. They've driven away much of their core audience due to complete ineptness. I wanted to be positive, but when Spike cancelled them, it was truly the beginning of the end. Now they're cancelled again. Let's see how long this Pop thing lasts. IRS is right about them putting on some awesome shows last year though.

A lot of negativity on here.... I'm going to hope that TNA's learned from prior mistakes & will produce a solid, coherent show beginning with the 1/5 Bethlehem tapings....... It's mostly because a lot of people have kept huge hopes that TNA will pull it together and improve. They started doing that when they went to the Hammerstein Ballroom om summer 2014 before they got cancelled. That's the last time I fully enjoyed an Impact Wrestling show. It seems like they always use a certain formula whenever they make a big move. When they debut on POP!, I will watch that episode. If it looks like they're doing the same s*** as always, I will quickly watch less of TNA. I will agree that some people are being negative to point where they want TNA dead, which I think is wrong. I want TNA to succeed, but at this point, I really doubt they'll turn it around. To me, the story of TNA is that they've gotten chance, after chance, after chance, after lucky chance, and every time they got those lucky breaks, they find a way to screw it up because they have someone who doesn't know about the wrestling business running it, even though in my opinion TNA started going downhill when Jill Jarrett died in 2007. It was around that same time where they had every title tied up on Kurt Angle for months. It was there where I went from enjoying TNA to becoming a little sour on the product.

Sure it's nice to have goals... if he thinks TNA is still capable of getting those numbers though he's on crack. Simple as. This

IRS is right about them putting on some awesome shows last year though. I was the same man. Watched it from 2003-4 (didn't air in the UK from 2004-2006), and then again from 2007-2014. I loved it as an alternative to WWE (which I grew dissatisfied with after 2006), the more action-intense matches, some of my old favorite guys and the X-division. I always seem to root for underdogs in sport, so it just fit more with me as a competitor, plus it was a spiritual successor to WCW which I also loved. I really grew to love it in 2010 (despite the obvious problems, especially since this period led to where it is now), but I loved seeing more of my favorite guys - Jeff, RVD, Anderson... and the rise of Storm, Roode and Aries to the main event. I supported the show wholeheartedly, gladly discussed it with friends, and bought all the wrestlers made in Deluxe figures. I still think they're one of my better collections. But then, I just couldn't be bothered to watch anymore. It felt like a chore to watch after October 2014. I couldn't bring myself to accept the programme any more, and just dropped off supporting them. It felt like a break-up lol! Every now and then I'll read about what they're doing, but never actually stay in the loop. I can't see them doing much better next year. But if they have some more success than this year, good for them.

I'm not convinced the president of pop TV really knows what he bought in to at this point if those are his expectations

Good luck to that. TNA has hurt a lot of their fan-base and needs something drastic to make up for it.
