AWL is my upcoming pic fed to start filming after Christmas. In this thread is where I will post match cards, announcements, links to shows, etc. So here are some facts about the fed.
1:AWL stands for Alex's Wrestling League(see my username then it's kinda obvious why)
2:This is a name I have used for shows ever since I was a wee boy, I got my first figures when I was 5 and made the name up. Many references will be made to those days such as past world champs
3: There are currently 4 main titles for the brand.(3 singles and tag team)
4: The global championship(my IC title) is the oldest of the titles being around since 2007, the year I was 5.
5: The Undertaker has the greatest title record of anyone on my shows, being a 10 time World Champion, a 5 time Heavyweight Champion, a 2 time Global Champion, and a 7 time Tag Team Champion(4 times with Kane, Twice with Big Show and once with HHH)funny fact, he won the belt with HHH the week of Wrestlemania 27 in real life where they would face each other.
6: There have been over 20 Global Champions since the title debuted, including the likes of HHH, Stone Cold, John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, and many other men who became Main as enters over the years.

Facts: Continued
7: Try to guess the first ever Global Champion, not Cena l, not Taker, not HHH, but believe it or not the first Global Champion was actually Umaga!!! One of four guys who started this show, along with Finlay, Rey Mysterio, and HHH.
8: Kane has the greatest undefeated streak in history of my show. He was once 36-0. But lost at the hands of his brother in a buried alive match.
9: There have been over 45 PPVs of different names in my shows history. Some have had multiple editions. Such as Showdown which started in June 2009. That PPV has since been called, The WrestleMania of the AWL.
10: Speaking of Showdown, it actually has had the biggest match card/longest show ever. In 2009, at Showdown 1, there were 15 matches, I sat there playing for hours and if remember correct, my mom almost had to drag me to diner when I was in the middle of Kane vs Rey Mysterio.
11: There have been many made up/real but renamed match types on my shows. Including a pool match(Yes I mean SWIMMING pool) a mud pit match, and more.
And the last one for now: There has NEVER been a Divas match on any of my shows. All divas figures were used as Managers or Interviewers. ( no I'm NOT sexist ) and I never had more than 5 divas anyways. They were sold along with most of my Jakks figures back in 2012.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
On episode one of AWL. There will be a match to decide each Champion.
For the Tag Team Championships it will be: Rap Strong(R Truth and Mark Henry) vs Perfect Intelligence(Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow) vs Air Boom(Kofi and Evan Bourne) vs Sheamus and Rey Mysterio
For the Global Championship it will be: Cesaro vs Dolph Ziggler vs Bad News Barrett vs Zack Ryder vs John Morrison vs Alberto Del Rio
For the World Heavyweight Championship it will be: Kane vs Bret Hart vs Razor Ramon vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
And for the AWL Championship it will be: CM Punk vs John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Shawn Michaels vs Big Show vs Ryback
So be sure to tune in for Episode 1. Official date should be announced by the New Year.

UPDATE: AWL Chairman says the filming will start next weekend! He quoted "Our arena location will be in Philadelphia, PA. But trust me there won't be much Brotherly Love happening during our match card." He also stated that the will be a mystery match featuring Seth Rollins. But his opponent's contract is still in negotiation.

UPDATE: FIlming delayed, says Chairman "To much stuff going on to explain." Promises Episode 1 to be out by Summertime. Seth Rollins rumored opponents contract signing didn't go well. States he doesn't feel ready yet. Chairman hoping to find new opponent soon. "I have a few ideas for SuperStars that might be willing to work with Seth, we will see how it turns out though." stated Chairman. More updates to come when filming commences.

UPDATE: Sold out arena for the first show. Chairman quotes "I'm shocked we sold out so fast. But with this match card who wouldn't want to be there."
Seth Rollins opponent confirmed by Chairman. "After talking over a new contract. Seth. Rollins opponent for episode 1 will be Sting!"
CM Punk, who is in the Main Event of episode 1. Has been injured during training. Currently unsure of plans. "I basically broke my shoulder. Not sure when I can compete. But what I can say. Is I'll be at Race for the Gold 2016. In the Race to Gold match. And I'll be walking out with that title match contract. So whoever is champ at that time should be worried!"

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Unfortuneately, AWL Episode 1 filming has taken a stop. As my cats managed to find a way to my ring ropes and chew the top and bottom rope in half. I'll have to see when I can order a set or RSC. But it may be awhile. But it shouldn't matter to much, as i wasn't even half way done with the first match. But I'm thinking until then. Maybe Episode 1 can be on the Text Feds board. Using the script i had already written.
