I really like Christian. I think he was great in TNA, and fantastic on WWECW. He should have had a really lengthy run with the WHC, but I loved his feud with Randy Orton regardless.
That being said, there has never been any confusion to me why Edge was the guy in WWE that Christian wasn't. Christian was always good at everything, maybe even more polished than Edge in a number of ways, but Edge had magnetic charisma, both as a character and an in-ring performer, that Christian clearly didn't possess. Christian never had a point in his career that paralleled Edge's Rated R Superstar gimmick either imo.
I like them both. I'm a bigger fan of Edge but I don't ever look negatively on Christian because of that, personally. E&C is one of my top 3 favorite tag teams of all time, and they have to be considered the most successful pair of guys all time in terms of singles success post split too I would think. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are likely going to change that but the dynamic of tag teams is totally different now than what it was in the late 90s.
So yes, Christian does get largely overlooked, and he's taken a backseat at times when it was probably unfair to him, but he had a great career and you won't get any argument from me that he's a legend now.

Christian is another guy WWE has completely underutilized throughout the years.

Christian reminds me of Cesaro or Shelton Benjamin meaning talent means nothing in WWE
Also I'm that guy who loved every match with Chistian Edge Hardys and Dudleys in TLC
Usually anyone who had a good indie or extreme background gets nowhere in WWE

Probably in the minority. I only liked Christian when he was a tag team partner. Weather it be Edge and Christian, or with Jericho. The guy never stood out on his own. Only time he had a chance as a singles wrestler, was when WWE blew the program with him and Cena and they had to add Jericho to the mix.
