TNA drew 111,000 viewers for their debut on POP TV last night with the "Best Of" special featuring highlights from the past year. For what it's worth, a rerun of soap opera Days of Our Lives drew 211,000 viewers at 8pm EST as the lead-in for TNA. An airing of the 1991 movie Point Break at 11pm EST drew 129,000 viewers. TNA will air part 2 of the "Best Of" special next Tuesday night on POP. www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2015/1223/606046/viewership-for-last-night-tna-debut-on-pop-tv/

Wasn't the official debut but thanks for the negative spin as usual.

Well, it was just a Best Of show.
I'd wait until the actual premiere to judge.

I'll be watching for the debut live episode.
If Matt hardy wins. I won't be watching.

I won't completely judge the rating, since it's a Best of show, but based off of these ratings they got, I can see them getting Destination America numbers AFTER they debut. I expect them to do about 600,000 for the debut show and then the ratings will get lower to Destination America numbers and I see them maintaining that rating afterward.

LOL @ people still making excuses for TNA. Seriously its over with. Everyone has seen this coming for years except for the blind. Just let it go already. I gotta sorta agree with this. I have seen the same two-three people on this thread (OK, maybe just one of them) who will defend TNA. Now it's not totally fair to judge this rating IMO because it was a best of episode on a holiday week. IMO the best judge will be not only the rating they get on their debut episode on POP!, but their ratings AFTER the debut show. About those people saying that people who criticize TNA are just so super negative and just wants to see TNA die, there's only a couple of people on here that I've noticed that truly want TNA to die. I see most of the people criticizing and being negative toward TNA, are being negative because they are not liking what they're seeing, and the super defenders just assume that everyone who criticizes TNA just wants to be negative toward TNA. To me, TNA is not the same TNA I watched in 2004. The only thing I would watch TNA for today is EC3 and the knockouts, even though they should start scouting women from SHIMMER/SHINE Wrestling. I'm sure they'll work for as much as they get in the indies and it's a little bit of national exposure for them. Everything else to me is "Eh" at best. Last time I truly enjoyed watching an episode of TNA was when they did their TV tapings in New York and Lashley was the champion being a dominant heel champion who did not have to depend on MVP and Kenny King interfering to retain. I'm sorry I ranted, cause I did not intent to. IMO I agree with most of what you said, but also I think we should give TNA just ONE more chance. I think we should watch the debut episode and judge from that. Personally if I feel they have a chance to make the show good, I'll keep watching. If they go back to their old ways, example if they do a heel turn at the show to make it "shocking", if I see another "debut show on a new network" with every TNA title on the line just for the sake of putting the belt on the line, then I'm going to assume that they won't change and I will completely leave the TNA boat. I'll be on the "I'll watch every once and a while, but won't follow as much" boat.

It also was a "Best of" going against a live episode of Smackdown. Not really a fair comparison. That said, it's on another channel I don't even have, so it's hard to care much about TNA going forward.
