In all of entertainment (Movies/TV/Comics/Etc...), what is your favorite fictional universe? What body of work do you appreciate the most?
For me, it'll always be Ghostbusters. At seven years old, I saw the movie shortly after the 'Real Ghostbusters' cartoon series was already underway. I assumed the movie was made based on the cartoon (instead of vice-versa). To me, they were the most realistic good guys out there. They weren't superheroes. They weren't mutants. They didn't have powers. They were scientists with doctorates. They were doing their best with the technology they had, to solve the problem of ghosts plaguing New York City. Speaking of NYC, I grew up in southwest Connecticut, and had access to the NYC TV and radio affiliates. So I was familiar with all local references made in both the movie and the cartoon. In my mind, if the GB world was real, it was only an hour away.
To this day, my love of Ghostbusters (like my love of wrestling) was never outgrown. I have almost everything about it I can get my hands on (Movies, cartoons, comics, toys...). I may be in the minority, but I am very much looking forward to the female reboot. I like the director, and it's not as if the actresses are unproven talent. In conclusion, I may not be able to get into Marvel/DC, Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who, or anything similar, but I am all about Peter, Ray, Egon, Winston, Janine, Stay-Puft, and Slimer.
What is your favorite?

SUMMIT PRO.
Perhaps I should elaborate...it's one I created myself.
My efforts are in the Text Fed and Fantasy Boards.
...
In real life though:

A Song of Ice and Fire
Not only is the universe itself extremely interesting, but I don't think there's any other universe out there where I've fallen in love with so many characters. Making a top 25 list of my favorite A Song of Ice and Fire characters is actually hard for me to do. The story is compelling as hell, and things only become more interesting as time passes. It's easy to get lost in the world for hours, trying to piece everything about the story together. Also, dragons. (Even if they really don't do that much outside of three scenes)

Star Wars: my opinion is based largely on the many novels that expanded on the movies creating a very cohesive universe full of interesting characters. Sadly, much of the universe built in those novels is being rendered non-canon by Disney and the new movies. I wish we could get a cinematic version of Mara Jade but It doesn't look good.

The universe of Doctor Who. Aliens, time travel, ability to not die...that'd be something.

Harry Potter Universe. I used to dream about a letter from Hogwarts taking me away from regular life.

Harry Potter for sure. Read the books a million times each and love the whole series. I have a couple tattoos with HP themes too.

The WWE Universe?
Seriously though, they're all cool. I really liked the John Carter of Mars Universe and the Vampire's assistant Universes but those movies will never see sequels despite the fact that they were set to be franchises.

I would say either the Rocky-verse or the Nolanverse. Rocky has always been my fav movies and I enjoy all the Nolan Batman (as well as every Batman movie)

One Piece for me. It's so deep and there's still so much information and lore that's been hinted at but never revealed. Going back and rereading it is a treat because you can actually see all of the connections to things that happened a hundred chapters ago.

Probably either the Marvel Universe or Batman universe (I'm not much of a DC outside Bats).
Pokemon universe was definitely my favorite as a kid, though.
