There was a time I thought Storm was going to be the biggest star in TNA. The story-line with Roode and their World title was perfect. Then TNA "TNA'ed" it up. Storm took months off and when he returned the feud had lost all it's steam. They had a great match but it was too little too late IMO. That being said, I have NOT enjoyed Storm in TNA for awhile now. And I was ecstatic to see him show up in NXT. I wanted to see him have new surroundings and new opponents. I thought he was where he belonged. But I guess TNA offered twice what WWE was willing to. So I can't say I blame him. He's 38 years old and has to support a family. He's only got a few good years left in him so he has to get what he can while he can. So if he's happy, that's all that really matters. But I am disappointed. Around how much did WWE offer him?

I know I read TNA is paying him $250,000 and I think wwe was offering him $100,000 or less but something around there Honestly I can't believe TNA has $250,000 to pay him

I think cmiller79 's numbers were about right. I know TNA was offering more than double. Which is very surprising.

I think TNA got punked by WWE. WWE signed Samoa Joe. That ticked TNA off. So they show just a little interest in Storm and TNA panics and gives him a huge offer when in reality, WWE saw very little return on Storm as opposed to Samoa Joe. Perfect play by WWE. They used TNA´s ego against itself and made them weaker by paying a subpar performer much more money.

TNA is most likely spending money they dont have just so they can say they pulled someone from underneath WWE. Dixie is probably rubbing her hands together saying quietly "I win!!!". Imagine how much they paid Hogan/Bishoff and all the WCW/WWE guys they had in 2010-11. TNA makes some very poor business decisions.

More money or not, I feel like his choice was short sighted, and he made a bad call.
Not only that, but I'm simply disappointed. I was excited when he started working NXT.
