E29 Punk would have been better if they painted kickpads. its literally the only Elite punk with plain black kickers, and considering the trunks he wore go with this: THAT is what it should have looked like. it was an utter disgrace that they didnt paint the kickers on him it brings the quality of the figure down enough pegs to where it's not even the best in that set i liked the Punk/Brock match....and i def would've preferred the painted kickpads. But i acutally think it was the only time he wore that attire w/ the kickpads. And he really did go a stretch of time in 2013/2014 where he wasn't wearing kickpads for some reason. so it is accurate. And from the sound of it, it came down to us getting the kickpads or the hoodie. U could argue its easier to get someone to make u a hoodie than it is to paint the kickpads urself. But i think it was the right way to go. If it had the kickpads and a rubber shirt or chair or something...i wouldn't like it as much. The only issue i have w/ the figure is that the i don't believe he wore that hoodie in that color. They def sold it in that color on wwe shop. But the hoodie that punk wore in the blue was the Gracie Jujistu one. I think he only ever wore this wwe shop hoodie in black Punk stopped wearing kickpads because he stopped giving af about wrestling after Wrestlemania 29. He stopped wearing them full time after his last heel turn, but he still wore them for most big PPV's (SS '12, NOC '12, SvS '12, RR '13, WM 29, Payback '13, MITB '13, SS '13, RR '14, etc.) Towards the very end of his WWE run he often wore the same trunks continuously without kickers, whereas before he would switch trunk colors with kickpad designs almost weekly.

just off the top of my head, I'd say E18 undertaker was matters best elite (opinion). def one of my all time favorites that was a (American) bad ass figure shame it didn't make the finals

and the last figure standing....in the Best Elite Collection series figure Rumble is elite 16 CM Punk he went up against an amazing wave like e16. He battled thru and beat the best figures from waves elite 9-15. And when put to the test...against the other 5 best of the best figures, as voted on by you. He stood atop the heap. It was a close call. E17 Mankind put up a heck of a fight thanks to everyone that participated. And thanks to the admins and mods for allowing me to post 3 weeks worth of polls

Holy disappointment, Batman... I just can't see what's so special about that Punk figure.

thank you, I hope you can do the same contest next year check for part 2 when elite series 80 comes out in 2022 maybe i'll do some others? I have most of the legends figs, but not all. I could probably do that one. But do i include 2 packs? are HOF considered a continuation of Legends..or there own thing?

Legends, HoF singles, and 2 packs. I feel 2 packs are fine as most people were torn between LoD and Usos or Matadores(tag teams in same series)
Hell, battlepacks are almost the same number as elites. That might be fun...

Holy disappointment, Batman... I just can't see what's so special about that Punk figure. It's his most iconic attire from his best WWE match, which also happens to be a legitimate 5 star match. And it includes his best tshirt. The E20 might look a little more life-like, but E16 still looks a lot like Punk. Swap the pads and add the belt and it's just about perfect. Honestly, I wouldn't consider this the greatest elite out of all 40 series, and I'd argue that E41 Finn Bálor really deserves the award, but it's in the top 10, and probably the best out of these five. The voting for several of these series shocked me.

Well, there you go folks, there is no God.
Just kidding. I get Elite 16 as a significant release. The zeitgeist of the year was captured by that figure which came at just the right moment. Is it the best looking figure? Nah. Not even close. Is it important to this line and to this particular community? Absolutely. I remember how bad everyone wanted this figure. A worthy adversary.
But......we all know Regal would've won if this was based purely on looks and overall badassery.

Id have voted Mankind but I missed it.
The CM punks a good figure though.
Can't believe Bulldog got this far...shocked! I know I keep banging on about it and the figure would be worthy if.........the headsculpt looked like him and not a perfect headsculpt of his son. In fact the head-sculpts a better likeness to DHS than his purposely made ones from his Basics and Elite. WHY does this not bother you!!! LoL
Just messing though I enjoyed seeing everyone's opinions and agreed with most. It was nice and positive. Look forward to more...Thanks East Coast!

Great figure. My personal favourite figure has to be Tyson Kidd Elite 40. Hate the accessories, but the attire is spot on.

You all probably know I'm not nearly the biggest Punk fan
But man. When I first started collecting Mattel , was when he had just dropped the Pipebomb and was getting really hot. And E11 was he set in stores. I looked EVERYWHERE but still never to this day found that E11 Punk. I went months and months without any sort of proper short haired/current style Punk.
And then they finally released a figured, based off his greatest match ever, against Cena at MITB2011. That figure being E16. So I'm not even really mad at this. E16 Punk isn't the best elite ever. But it's surly one of them
