People just don't get it that WWE does not want back either Hardy brother or Kurt Angle. For some reason this is the pipe dream of some fans....but I really don't get why. If you're a WWE fan who is an adult, you've already seen Angle, and the Hardy's in WWE in their prime. It's not going to get better than that. People talk soooooo much crap about TNA and how they never create their own brand and that all TNA does is take the cast offs that WWE doesn't want instead of investing in new, young, unique, homegrown talent. So when TNA does that......why should WWE at ANY POINT want those guys back? Especially when they have such extensive drug and DUI history? WWE would be hypocritical to take back 3 past their prime guys and take spots away from younger talent. Wrestling needs a FUTURE, not a constant reliance on the past. Vince would cut off one of his 3 testicles to get Jeff Hardy back under the WWE umbrella.

I don't even understand how jeff hardy's body still operates...him and sabu should team up as the broken springs.

How is it a terrible decision? Anytime he's been in WWE he hasn't been in the best condition.

Whether or not it's a good decision, all I know is that I may never get classic Mattel Hardy Boyz figures and that saddens the child and collector in me.

Considering his upcoming surgery, i wouldn't expect him to have been on WWE's radar anytime soon anyway. And Matts sure not going to give up being a big fish in a small pond. Both guys have had HoF worthy careers, so they'll eventually get the Mattel treatment in time. Probably in the next 3 years i bet. Same with Angle. As for the actual decision to stay in TNA, its a good move on his part to make sure he's financially stable in the face of not really being able to work for the better part of, or up to, a whole year.

Let's be honest here, it's not the first terrible decision Jeff Hardy has ever made. (See: Arrest, Dirtbike) Probably won't be the last, either.

I'm pretty sure if Jeff Hardy still sells a butt load of merchandise & is still pretty popular in the fans eyes Vince would take him back, maybe he wont be as popular as he once was back in 2009 seeing as he's been away from the WWE for a long time now & people have probably moved on but if he had a legends contract something like RVD where he only shows up occasionally & don't have to work a full time schedule, hell maybe even throw in his brother in there aswell. I mean Jeff has got a HUGE following after all, once rivalling Super Cena at one point..
He's a little similar to James Storm's recent situation, Storm had the chance to go to NXT but he decided to come back to TNA because he has an established position In the company & doesn't have to be on the road as much as WWE's hectic schedule & with Jeff's age, his injuries, his body & recently starting a family. I'm pretty sure he'd want to take it easy & spend as much time with them as he can at this point in his career, plus with Matt & Shane Helms there aswell they've got a good thing going in TNA atm.

I think Storm came back b/c he never got signed to a full time NXT deal. I think he would have signed with NXT, had the opportunity arisen. But he was competing and hoping to get signed. TNA was willing to feature him, pay him guaranteed money. Wrestling is a dangerous business and you have a limited shelf life. Storm played it safe.

TNA is also far more desperate to have him because he's a draw there. WWE has guys like Balor, Joe, Zayn in NXT who can all draw, as evidenced by London and other various Takeover events. TNA needs all the star power they can have under one roof, and for as cheap as they can get them to keep their asses afloat, which is sad, considering the state of the company a decade ago.

He probably became more appealing event after the small stint in NXT. NXT doesnt need really anyone. They have an amazing roster. Right now WWE has more talent than they ever have had. Having Storm would just give them 1 more leg up on TNA....making the grand total well over a billion legs up.

Hold on tna rating is 1/4 of what there where getting on spike. How is anyone in that company a draw anymore ? How are they still in business ?
They have to be losing money hand over first right now, even with all the people leaving.

How is it a terrible decision? Anytime he's been in WWE he hasn't been in the best condition. This guy was too drunk to wrestle in the main event at victory road 2011. The match only lasted a 1 min and 28 seconds. This would never happen in WWE.
