Good read. I was at Mania 28, and the Raw after. What an amazing night. I don't know if it was ever released on DVD or whatever, but Bryan came out after Raw was over and thanked the crowd, as we went absolutely nuts for him. He even said at that time that what was happening was special, like he knew what was going to come out of that moment for years to come. I kind of, selfishly, view that as the most important moment of his WWE career, and I was glad to see you had it listed so high. I think without that loss, without that crowd reaction, the wave of momentum he built from Hell No and into 2013 and obviously into WM30, never would have happened. The Yes Movement has origin as far as I'm concerned. Also, +1 for YEStleMania haha.

Not sure if anyone said it, but I'm surprised the WWE didn't bleep out the words "wrestler" or "wrestling" during Bryan's speech.

It was never put on DVD but a fan video of the night after Mania promo was on YouTube and used in the Bryan Journey to WrestleMania documentary.

I'm glad he shed more light on his recent tests and the info about the seizures on ESPN. Up until those tests, he was saying he might be done with WWE ,but would wrestle elsewhere. But his tone on Monday was not one that led me to think he would go somewhere else after his contract ran out. I think it would have been a more light hearted farewell to the WWE Universe kind of speech if he indeed had any plans for further competition. The Coach interview certainly clarified the finality in his tone Monday. He owes neither us , or even himself, "one more match" under any promotions banner. If circumstances have cut his career short, he knows ....we know....that he did the unthinkable and reached the pinnacle prior to untimely end of his career. Nothing left to prove Bryan. And thats a good thing. I do hope, however, that he changes his stance on non wrestling roles in WWE. He has a wealth of talent that can still be tapped to help the future generations of wrestlers and certainly has connected with the crowd enough to have semi regular on screen apperances. However, if they keep him off TV for the next full year, i smell a garunteed HoF induction next year.

I cant say anything other than his entire wwe career took place in a time when I didnt watch wwe so I have no clue as to who he wrestled, how he wrestled, and so on.
Based off of his looks I dont think I would have been a fan of his.

What my idiot friend has to say about DB's retirement: I'd hardly consider him a legend based solely on WWE accomplishments. He was popular as for a while, but so was the Godfather. Not that I'm comparing the two, but his "legendary" status comes from everything else, you shouldn't really expect WWE typicals to coincide.
