I donΒ΄t think the wm6 match was a title unification match. It was. I think it would have been cool if the outcome was reversed. I think the yellow strap Intercontinental Championship Title Belt would have looked great on Hulk Hogan.
It was a title vs. title match. The IC belt still existed, they just stripped Warrior of it due to him holding the Heavyweight. Perfect won the belt in a tournament less than a month after Mania.
The unification was in 2002 when Triple H unified the belt with the Heavyweight. Then it was brought back like a year later.

I think of Jericho, Savage, Warrior, Orton and Shelton.
My favourite design would hands down be the Oval version, especially the 2003-2011 version with the nameplate.

I associate a lot of guys with that title....and the original design especially. Warrior, Savage, Bret, Shawn, Razor, Benoit, Jericho, RVD, Cody and Dolph are probably the main ones over the years. But the one guy i associate with it the most is Mr Perfect. I'd have to really think hard to pick my favorite IC match though. So i'm gonna have to cop out on that part of the question.

Exactly. It was title for title. Not a unification.

Randy Orton or Shelton Benjamin. Both had very good reigns right around the time I got into RAW.

I always associate the Intercontinental Championship with the likes of Savage, Steamboat, Hart, Michaels, Razor, Austin, Jericho and RVD. The kind of guys that got it over as prestigious as the World title. Unlike today, they made you feel like you had to care about the title.

Razor Ramon, Jericho, Orton and Christian.
The Oval IC title is my favorite one.

Sucker for the oval design. Started watching in '01. Can't really sort out who I'd associate with the title. I associate it with McIntyre for some reason.

The mid 80's-mid 90's is my favorite design of the belt.
I guess when I think of IC Champs the 1st ones that come to mind are Mr. Perfect, Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, Macho Man.

The white belt I associate with Cody. The classic belt with Mr. Perfect. The oval one, I'd say Jericho or Christian.

It just depends on the era you grew up with. For me it's Perfect and Razor.

Too many to name, but it always seemed that the best workers would always end up with that belt on their way to the top, those were always my favorite guys too so that belt means a lot to me. The Reggie Parks classic version is my favorite, but the oval really grew on me.

Mr. Perfect. Then. Now. Forever. Mr. Perfect for me as well. Felt like he had the belt forever back in the day, and his Summerslam '91 title defense against Bret is one of my favorite matches ever.
