Here is a story nobody asked for... When me n my wife started dating we were talking on the phone some late Saturday night. On Velocity a masked guy named Diamondback wrestled. And he was very impressive. I told my wife how impressed I was. But I said the guy will have to lose the mask. Then a few weeks later I was at a house show in Pittsburgh and a masked guy named the Penguin wrestled. It was obvious it was the same guy. A few weeks later Brian Kendrick debuted. I instantly recognized him as that masked man. Been a fan since. "I didn't like that story" -Dudley puppy (tuff puppy)

Never forget Wtf? I assume that's some kind of mistake they made some years ago? It was a multi-man match where whoever got the final pin before the time ran out was the winner. Every pin before that got the "Current WWE Champion" announcement. Only the last was officially the champion after it was over though.

Wtf? I assume that's some kind of mistake they made some years ago? It was in a scramble match at Unforgiven 2008. Wrestlers could win the title during the match but the one with it at the end of the time period was the official champion. So while that visual exists, he never was actually the champion. well technically he was it just didn't count because, scramble rules.

Wtf? I assume that's some kind of mistake they made some years ago? Check out Unforgiven 2008. He was in the Scramble match and got a pin, so for a few minutes, he was the WWE Champion. The title changes in the match don't count for legit reigns though. Huh I don't remember that, and I *THINK* I saw Unforgiven 08 back in 08 but idk. I was a kid back then and my parents wouldn't let me buy every PPV. I'll have to rewatch it.

I've been watching wrestling longer than some of these kids have been alive.
Sabre JR makes wrestling look pretty. I haven't seen much but I'm a fan already.
Gulak is a man bear. It ain't pretty, but it gets done.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Bollywood Boys get a tag team try out with NXT. Skinny kids in ugly tights are all the rage.
I'm glad every match is competitive. Nobody is made to look weak.
Neese is a beast. Seems exactly like the type of talent that would excel in NXT.
Love having time limits back.
Bennett was okay. Potential is there but needs more work.
Having Kendrick back makes life better.
Next weeks show should be great.

Man, Bryan was freaking out at the end of that one. Very nice match, and show as a whole. It was interesting as there was less flying this night than the others. Still a good amount, but less. Next week looks like a stacked show. I'm really looking forward to the second round though. And former partner? They're still teaming! Corey was off when they taped his stuff those this one, it seems.

While WWE champ was a stretch I feel like he should have been US Champ, Shelton wasn't exactly doing anything with the title. I think he defended it once on a PPV preshow in a span of about 8 months.

Seriously no one praising how great Kendrick/Mendoza was? God damn Kendrick made the crowd hate him and Mendoza was incredible.

Mendoza using The End of Heartache wasn't a great idea.
I know Roddy isn't in the company but even a good majority of the crowd reacted like "oh cool, but that's not your move buddy".
Just a VERY small nitpick of an otherwise tremendous match.

Another good show. First round concludes next week - then we can get on to the good stuff. Although, Gargano vs Ciampa should be pretty damn awesome.

As much as I love Brian Kendrick, Raul Mendoza completely won me over in that match. I went in not sure what to expect and came out disappointed that he didn't win.

Ok show this week. ZSJ v. Tyson Dux could have been great given the time but the match was designed as a showcase for ZSJ which was fine. They Anthony Bennett had no business being in the tournament, he was terrible, worse then Ho Ho Lun. Next Week should be lit.

sabre jr/gulak in the next round is gonna be mindblowing. cant wait. This is legit the most excited I am for any match in the CWC. Two of the absolute BEST technical wrestlers by far.

Neese and Mendoza both impressed, they look like they would fit in. I love Sabre and Gulak but does their style fit?
Looking forward to the last 1st round. After that I'm going to rank all the competitors.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Nese here.
I usually HATE that guy. Everytime I give him a chance he blows it by being sloppy. This time he delivered. Looks like I'll be giving him one more chance.
