Anyone else want a Dink BAF? Obviously he wouldn't sell in a regular line so this seems to be a good way to get one made. Think about that for a second. If he wouldn't sell on his own for 15 or 20 dollars, why would people buy four rehashed basics at a total of $60 just to build him?

Mean Gene was a great choice because he was a big presence in the golden era of WWF and during the apex of WCW during the Monday Night Wars. Who climbed in the ring for an interview right after Hogan turned heel??
Paul Bearer may be the most recognizable manager ever (though Heenan is the best). Bearer had incredible longevity with the fans. Those two choices make good sense for a BAF. Some of the other ones people are throwing out -- I'm sorry to say -- don't make good sense. You have to convince large numbers of collectors to buy 4 figures that most of them won't want, essentially paying $60 or so for the BAF. As such, I think a figure like Vince or Shane would likely be good candidates. So would a Donald Trump (whether you like or not).

He was only on air president of WWE nbd Well considering he was barely ever on television and was only there to make "big" announcements, yeah it is no big deal lmao. He wouldn't sell either.

No more BAF! I hate having to buy tons of other worthless basics to get one cool figure. But I would LOVE Jack Tunney! Or 1980's announcer Vince Mcmahon! I'm with manny I can't justify $100 for mean gene I would drop $20 on him but not $100 Next suited guy should be dibiase or mr Fuji

I hate the BAF but I'd be forced to buy if it was Tunney or Monsoon.

As much as i would love a Tunney, i have a feeling it aint gonna happen. I think Vince and Shane are wasted spots because they get,or most likely will (in Shanes case) regular line releases. I think Monsoon is possible. JBL in a suit is probable. And I'd love to see Ventura, Bischoff and Graves make the cut eventually. Although i would rather see Cory as a FB nXt figure in a future elite lineup. And just for the hell of it, I'm gonna put Tony Schiavone on my BAF wishlist too. Yeah i know.....never gonna happen.....but it would so be "the greatest night in the history of our collection" ......"yeah....that'll move a lot of butts off the pegs"............lol

Next Monsoon. I'd like to get all the managers eventually too. Fuji, Slick, Brother Love, Sheri (we'd probably get her in a flashback spot),Capt. Lou (another one that would be unique enough to have to be in a flashback spot) I'd also like another Heenan eventually with the monogrammed "BH" on the breast of his jacket.

Classic McMahon is the absolute most obvious choice. I'm with the people saying that if a figure couldn't sell on it's own, it wouldn't sell as a baf. Look at how bad Teddy Long's assortment choked. Long was an okay choice but I know plenty of people who skipped him, especially due to the bad character selection. Johnny Ace wouldn't have sold either had that been a basic assortment. TRU is obviously never doing BAFs again and I doubt Walmart wants anything beyond basic sets.

Plus you could always toss the other figures on eBay to recoup some of your money.

Forget about a BAF series, and just do a series similar to the Knoble/Mercury 2 pack such as a legendary commentators 2 pack with Heenen/Monsoon or 80's/90's Vince and Jesse Ventura , Lawler/JR, or a managers/wrestler 2 pack, such as Mr. Fuji and Muraco, Savage/Elizabeth , Slick/Akeem, One Man Gang, or Bossman(longshot), Albano, George Steele, or Snuka(barefoot), or even bigger long shot a 3 pack with the Bulldogs! But like it was said, why go through the hassle of buying a bunch of figures you may not want just to build one! Really? I think give the customer the characters we want if they are signed to Legend's contracts, I know I would buy everyone I just listed and then some..... Here's my contribution to the post hope it helps a little, everyone have a nice day!!!!!

As cool as Monsoon or Tunney would be, they are incredibly unlikely. I'd say seeing JBL, Corey Graves or maybe another Cole would be better. A lot more people know who they are opposed to Monsoon and Tunney.
