Love or hate TNA, I don't see this as a bad move. Something has to change and it has to happen fast. Very fast! So at least we know Dixie isn't just sitting on her butt expecting things to change automatically. This is absolutely a great move by them.

I think it is sick when the fans want it to die... why not say .. i want them to improve.. WWE as the only wrestling sucks.. Good job WWE isn't the only wrestling then. Thank you. Surely Japan, Mexico Germany and the U.K. have their own respective takes on it.

Hopefully these potential outside investors see what a mess TNA is and don't touch the product.

2009 I think. They even had an announcement video ready because it was apparently really close to happening. I wonder why that fell through It was more around summer 2010 when they had the EV 2.0, which is really ECW, invasion angle. Heyman didnt want to push any old guys and didnt want to work with Vince Russo, but Dixie wouldnt have any of that.

Maybe they should have a garage sale?

If they dont find investors I wonder how much longer they will be around but some how they keep finding a way

I remember his plan was something along the lines of building up (I think) Crimson as an unstoppable monster who eventually wins the world title, then Bryan Danielson (this was during his "release") would come in after being hyped up and defeat Crimson for the championship in an attempt to build new stars.

i second the notion that heyman would have been an awesome addition and possibly changed the entire product for the better, but we'll never know now.

Would I like TNA to improve? Yes. Will TNA improve? No.
TNA is a shell of what it used to be and will never be what it was in it's glory years. The fact that they're still around surprises me.

I would love it if a disgruntled TNA office employee would leak how much money tna has lost on a year by year basis. It has to be over 100 million dollars over tna's existence by noSeriously if nothing else look at roh right now they are coming out with there new line of figures. TNA on the other hand is unofficially done work jakks right ?
TNA getting 1/4 million viewers ?? How are they still on the air ? Regular TV shows get canned because even if there getting some several million viewers thats not enough to stay on and get renewed. TNA it's over and you know it...

Hopefully these potential outside investors see what a mess TNA is and don't touch the product. Why would you want that to happen? Pro wrestling needs more alternatives, and promotions like ROH, LU, PWG, & yes TNA, staying in business is only good for the industry. And if TNA needs outside investors to help them, then as a wrestling fan, I hope TNA gets those outside investors. I really don't get why some people want TNA to die so badly.

I agree with you on that point but we HAVE alternatives in New Japan, PWG, ROH, Lucha Underground and CHIKARA or local indys. I hope GFW gets off the ground as well but TNA's problem is that they keep beating a dead horse so often and make stupid business and booking decisions. They've lost so much money and it's amazing Bob Carter doesn't put his foot down and tell Dixie that enough is enough.

They've lost so much money and it's amazing Bob Carter doesn't put his foot down and tell Dixie that enough is enough. A) What dead horse are you talking about? And what bad booking decisions have they made since they got on POP? Everything TNA has done booking-wise has actually made sense recently. B) Bad business decisions is a problem with TNA, but I'm not gonna claim that TNA should die because of that. They just need new people in charge. Regardless of what you think about TNA, there is still a place for it in the industry. So long as they continue to have a dedicated fanbase (which they still do), and so long as they continue to help make guys like EC3, then I don't see the point in wanting TNA to have the plug pulled on it. Like I said, nobody benefits from TNA dying. Hell, nobody benefits from ANY of the wrestling alternatives out there dying, because any one of them going under is bad for the industry.

I'm starting to think this is how Dixie has had her company survive this long, instead of her roster she's probably became real friendly & chances are she's probably banged many outside investors & network executives to help TNA last as long as it has, it wouldn't surprise me actually seeing as she's so clueless on how to run the damn thing, anyone would put good money in for a good bj & spend a night in Dixie land..
She's gonna have to up her game now that her allowance fund is cut off..
I too would not like to see TNA kick the bucket, as many alternatives the better imo.

TNA sucks.
Hopefully EC3 leaves and returns to WWE when TNA folds.

I don't want TNA to go under. They have some very talented people working there.
But something/anything needs to change immediately. Whether that means they sell it or they bring in someone capable to run it. NXT has become everything TNA could/should have been. So it shows it can be done if ran by someone with some knowledge and resources.

Nothing disappoints me more as a wrestling fan than seeing other people wanting a wrestling company to die.

The only way I would want to see TNA fade away is if another company is ready to step into their spot.
PWG is probably in the best position to do so.
Evolve could probably do it, but I don't know if their WWE deal would allow it.
Chikara is another outside possibility
Sadly at this rate I doubt Global Force is going to amount to anything.
The day TNA finally folds will be a sad day for the industry as a whole, but the above listed companies could very easily fill the void that TNA is currently filling. Hell with the right management and drive any of those companies could easily rival what TNA once was, or at the very least what ROH currently is, as I see ROH in the best position to get to the point TNA was back around 2005-2007.
