I once got shoot DDTed into a brick wall at the local church 6 times in a row and I didn't sell it! They tell me it was 9 though. I guess I didn't get up for the 10 count.

Booking Matt "Mdogg 20" Cross on our show in 2007. And if you aren't familiar with who Matt Cross is, he's the guy who was on the cover of the original Best of BYW video game And he's currently featured in Lucha Underground as Son of Havoc

A few of my friends used to do backyard wrestling a few years ago. Nothing big, but it drew a small following. In one of the matches, one of my mates climbed on to the roof of his house and tried to do a shooting star press on to someone draped on a table in the garden. Needless to say, it went very wrong and he was in hospital for around three months after breaking several bones. After that, the Backyard Wrestling scene over here died out.

Two of my friends and me started a backyard wrestling federation in 1996 called the FWF - Florence Wrestling Federation, which later became the Frontier Wrestling Federation.
One was named Mike, he went on to become TJ Harley in all of Canada and a bit in the USA.
The other was named Jeremy, he went on to become Eric Young in TNA Impact.
That's about the craziest backyard wrestling story I have to tell.

I've never been in an actual backyard fed, but I am not joking, I've been in random locations where other people from backyard feds always seem to start brawling.
In college, I don't know what it was, but during the midnight madness of Rocky, it wasn't uncommon for a wrestling match to break out. Whenever this happened, I always took the opportunity to be the referee. Seeing as how these were "unsanctioned fights", there probably was no need for a ref, but after the first or second brawl, I realized that if nobody was counting pinfalls they would just keep going until someone got hurt.
And from that experience, I'd say the wildest thing I saw happen was someone do a combo of a sweet chin music, and then when the other guy didn't fall down from that, he was F-5ed onto the theater chairs. I counted the pinfall, and the poor SOB just lay there until midway through pre-show.
That was the first and last time a brawl happened inside the theater. Both of them were told if they wrestled inside again, they'd get banned from the show. After that, it was always out back in the alley behind the theater.

2 of our friends who weren't in our backyard fed....but were just hanging out with us on a day we were taping, we had them have a match.
and one of them stabbed the other in the head with a fork. Like it was stuck in the top of his head.

A crew of about 10 friends and I had a BYW promotion called TCW (Total Championship Wrestling). I was in a Ladder Match for the TCW World Championship and took a really bad ladder bump. I was climbing the ladder to get the title and my opponent pushed me off the ladder in the wrong direction. So I landed back first into the fence in our backyard, which had barbed wire strung across the top. Multiple good sized slices, a good amount of blood loss, 30 stitches and a tetanus shot after that.

I wasn’t there to witness it, and since he turned pro he took a bunch of backyard stuff off,
But this guy climbed onto the roof of a house and did a shooting star onto like 15 people. It wasn’t the tallest part of the house (who would do that?) but a solid 12-15 feet up.
A personal story of mine is I did a backflip from the middle rope onto a pile of people. That was fun.
