I too will be doing the same thing. But the Elite 16 Nash in red with blonde hair isn't wrong either. If you go back and watch Slamobree 98, he wore that outfit with blonde hair and black wrist tape with Hall vs. Sting and The Giant for the WCW Tag Titles. It was the event where Hall turned on Nash and went NWO Hollywood. Yea I know he wore the outsiders attire while he had blonde hair also but I prefer look in his earlier years in wcw when he still had the brown hair and syxx was still around. This is what I was going for

He has short hair at the moment. Wut lol If they scanned him now, it would be with short hair. So there is no chance of a new scan of him with long hair in the near future.

Just I know some people over the years have doubted the realism of Elite 16 Nash, because it was taken from such a random PPV event like Slamboree 98 and not from Bash at the Beach 96.

If they scanned him now, it would be with short hair. So there is no chance of a new scan of him with long hair in the near future. When people say scan they mean sculpt. When some people say MOC, they mean MISB.

I thought this exact thing when I saw the Ringside one. I don't have the elite nash but I'm going to swap with the basic nwo nash

Both the Nash Elite figures are great andso is the Diesel. I hope down the road we get a silver top Diesel Elite with Big Daddy Cool or Diesel Power on the front

Can this thread spark an official headswap only thread? and not just Mattel on Mattel swaps, but all other figure scans on Mattel bodies

The elite 16 Nash does nothing for me. Not even interested in it.

I also thought the heads belonged on the opposite bodies. Looks great.

I love that you basically just recreated the Toybiz figures I had growing up! That toybiz Nash on the right has a better sculpt than the Mattel. Not that the Mattel one is bad, but give Toybiz some credit. They had some amazing hand-sculptrd heads and you gotta be impressed with that. Check the last versions of Goldberg, Vampiro, Bruisers Sting, and that Rick Steiner that came with the weird Dog Gargoyle for example.

I find that if you put your thumb over the left side of E16 Nash's face, it actually looks like him, maybe the reference photos they scanned had that part of his face in the dark or something.

They look so much better now. Also, some Mattel's could benefit from a wash on the hair.

I love this. I actually like the look of both scans, but swapping heads and adding the vest really makes a difference. I had no plans on changing mine up, but after seeing this and your reference photos I'm sold on making the switch. Just add the long elbow pad on each and you have two great Nash figures with unique looks

it's criminal to me that RSC Nash didnt come with the Diesel vest. And orange haired e16 Nash's sculpt is so dull and small

Ill disagree just slightly. Blonde hair Nash head goes on the new Exclusive body, the Battle Pack head goes on the E16 Nash and the ponytail scan goes on Diesel. Then all the figures are accurate and actually look like Nash (Diesel head sucks)

I want to buy them in lots and not have to buy basics just for the pads, but I'll eventually find some and put it on Nash/Diesel and Hall/Razor
