Hooooolyyyy !!!!!!!!!!!!! God I love this show. AMC should take notes... You don't have to butt rape your audience to pad ratings for your next premiere. Stick to good storytelling and believe in your own show. Schmucks.

So happy to be wrong. Now they can move forward with a story that has so many outlets. The Wildlings coming back to Castle Black was amazing. I really thought they were going to set Jon on fire in order to bring him back to life but that's seemingly an element to the story we're going to see at a later point in the season. Theon can't catch a break. As soon as he gets free, in comes his crazy uncle to mess up his home life haha. Euron serves as a huge stepping stone between two worlds. So he's good news in that regard. I think we'll end up seeing a Yara and Theon vs Euron situation. Jon Snow and Theon surely have to meet again. At some point, Cersei is going to figure out she can literally do whatever she wants with Frankenstein's Monster at her disposal. I mean if she really wanted to go to that funeral, she'd have gone. I personally would have taken Jaime Lannister over the odds inside the church, just saying. Very good episode. Everything was concise and meaningful. Tyrion was hilarious with the dragons. Bran seeing Ned's childhood was incredible. I can't wait to see more of that story. That whole deal is so important and they can just feed us crumbs until it's time.

solid episode. they're really killing off the extra characters in these first few episodes so we can boil things down to the major players.
i love a good giant appearance, too.

Really great episode this week. At first I was bummed that Roose was just randomly killed by Ramsay (I've always found Roose to be the way more intriguing character), but it was actually a bit poetic. Roose killed Robb Stark with a dagger in order to seize power over the North, and now Roose was killed by a dagger in an attempt to seize power over the North. And Ramsay feeding Fat Walda and Baby Bolton to the dogs may be the most ed up thing the show has ever done. Tyrion's scene with the dragons was awesome, and I loved that he mentioned how much he wanted a dragon as child. I was always disappointed the show hadn't brought that up before. Euron! Really excited to see the Greyjoy plot advance from here. Book spoilers: Looks like Dany needs some new ships... So excited for next week. “Now it ends.” One of my favorite scenes from the books, next week is going to be a big episode. Oh, and that Jon Snow guy coming back was cool, I guess. Edit: I almost forgot about the flashback scene. It was cool to finally see Lyanna Stark in the flesh after all this time. And Hodor could talk at one point!

I didn't like the ending. Pretty uninspired writing in my opinion. Amateurish and cliched is how I'd describe it. Overall though I enjoyed the episode.

But I'm pretty damned biased. They could have had the Kool-Aid Man break through the wall and I would have been satisfied as long as it still meant that Jon Snow is back (as if there was any doubt). And I can't help but appreciate that they didn't drag the whole situation out like TWD does. If Scott Gimple (TWD showrunner) was in charge, the season would have ended with Snow on the table and we wouldn't even see his eyes open until the next season premiere.

Finally got around to watching Episode 2. Really great overall, excited to see more of the Iron Islands finally and it was nice to see what Bran is up to. While watching the final scene I had a feeling he was gonna wake up after everyone left, now he's gonna walk out and be all "hey guys" and it's gonna be great.

Pretty slow episode. I'm not sure how I feel about Snow leaving the watch. I'm leaning towards not liking the decision, but I'm interested to see where he goes from here. Seemed like an episode to set up the next couple episodes. It was alright.

Good episode tonight. I know a lot of people are disappointed about the Tower of Joy scene being cut off right before Ned got into the tower, but they need to build to that moment more in the show canon. I'm actually kind of glad they didn't rush it all in one random episode. The fight scene itself was awesome, and it's finally revealed that Howland Reed did get a dirty kill on Arthur Dayne.
Jon's stuff was amazing. From his reunions with Tormund and Edd, hanging the traitors, and leaving the Watch. So excited to see how the rest of his story plays out this season.
Things only continue to get worse for the Starks, even with so few of them left these days. Poor Shaggydog. Between Jon leaving the Watch, Ramsay having Rickon, and Ramsay wanting to send men to Castle Black, Bastardbowl is all but confirmed at this point.
Speaking of confirmed... Cersei and Jaime were talking about a trial by combat. (GET HYPE)
The rest of the stuff was good, but not much to talk about really. Was glad to see Olenna back, though. Now we just need Bronn...

Seemed like an episode to set up the next couple episodes. It was alright. I think they were just trying to establish the fact that now that he has actually "died", he's free from his oath to stay with the Night's Watch. This will allow him to team up with everyone and leave to go fight for Winterfell.
