You're making me paranoid. I have to go to the hospital today for my Entyvio infusion (IV drugs FTW) and my cat has been under the weather for the last week. Too many opportunities for something to go bad. My Entyvio infusion went fine yesterday. I was hopeful when I took my cat to the vet today. It didn't go well. Liver failure. Had to put her to sleep. Goddamn apartment is so f***ing empty... Flynn as a kitten: Flynn just a month or so ago, 12 years old. We're doing well around here at the moment. My cat died today. 18 years old. Survived being hit by a car twice. F*cking legend. Frank.

Sorry to hear that Drakz. Good long life for a kitty. Sounds like a champ too.

Remarkably, my cat who I wrote about at the beginning of the year is still kicking. The carcinoma in her jaw is massive, and my house look like a war zone 'cause she's drooling blood EVERYWHERE, but I just ordered another refill of her antibiotic, as the doc insists that until her personality (which is huge in its own right) changes markedly and she stops eating, we don't really need to weigh our options.

ing surreal to be at a funeral service where over 200 people are wearing Calgary Flames jerseys When I go, I want people to still dress nice, but in a way that makes it perfectly clear to every set of eyes they meet that they did so incredibly begrudgingly and that they don't like it. Only then will my legacy feel truly cemented. For real though, sorry for your loss. I've walked that receiving line before - friends passing on packs a special kind of hurt.

Broden was the most chill guy ever. He hated wearing formal wear, and loved hockey. His widow insisted people dress how they were most comfortable, and encouraged hockey jerseys, because it's what he'd have wanted. The end of service toast was about 350 of us in hockey jerseys, about 100 in other stuff, all having a beer in his name. It's tough, but it was really nice, and exactly the type of thing I want my funeral to be one day

I wore black slacks and a button up shirt, which I quickly abandoned in favor of a shirt someone had in their trunk as merch, because I was over dressed. I've never seen more flip flops at a funeral in my life. Or someone being called names for wearing a suit.

Your friend's sounds like one of them.

A few years back I was providing emotional support for a girl I've been friends with since I was five. Her grandmother, who had raised her and hence I'd also known since I was five, had passed so I was at the funeral. About halfway trough the service there's this scream from the behind us because somebody had straight up dropped dead in the middle of the funeral.
As the only person at that entire bloody funeral who could remain calm around a dead body I got to call the services. Try explaining a death at a funeral to the emergency services and getting them to believe you're not taking the p*ss, because I'll tell you now it's not easy.

I know everyone's lives are in various degrees of shambles lately, my own included, so I wanted to share a little dose of positivity with y'all.
Next week, I'm going to see a band I've been listening to for twenty one years with (and due in part to the generosity of) my best friend of twenty two years. I'd written off ever seeing this band, solely based on ticket prices and what I can feasibly justify and all that (I'm very fiscally conscious - surprise, accountant!), and this kid went and threw down an offer solely so that I'd buckle and go with him.
I have no idea where we're sitting. Don't care. It's supposed to be nice and warm that day, but if it rains? F*ck it - these are the sorts of things life is built upon. It'd be dope if my wife could go too, but the truth is, if I was ever gonna see these guys, this kid is who should rightfully be by my side, and I'm psyched as hell that he apparently felt the same way and I can't wait to spend the day with him and cheat on my diet for the day and all the stuff that goes into having been bros with this kid for the past two decades plus.

Today marks one year since Frank Lynn's debut in the WFWF. I wasn't sure if I would last this long. I did the figure text fed thing before joining the WFWF and that lasted just a hair over six months before I burnt out and stopped. What can I say, I get bored easily and am always looking for the next thing to grab my attention. Something about this place is different. After a year instead of burn out I'm more into it than when I started. As long as the ideas keep flowing, I'm going to keep on writing. Thanks for having me and thanks to bad guy™ for inviting me in the first place.

I debuted here towards the end of 2003, though I started roleplaying in 2000 and have written promos dated as early as 1996 (written on a typewriter!) I've burnt out more times than most people will ignite. It's something you either have and are into or don't.

Just thought I would say Hello. I've been lurking for about three weeks and finally decided to join. I have a lot of efed experience but haven't joined one in years. I'm a fiction author, so I've kept my writing sharp.
A lot of great talent here. I look forward to some friendly competition.
Put up my profile earlier if anyone is curious.(Sean Casey)

So having thought over WFWF a lot over the past week, an idea hit me that.. I probably won't do.. but what if, after the SuperBrawl incident with one of his flappers, Warren Goodwin got himself someone to watch his back.. say, Makoto Nishiyama. For a really weird tag team. Either that or a ridiculous segment where Warren has hired all new flappers because he's paranoid one might screw him over again.. and one of them turns out to be Makoto in disguise. Cue superkick and 'ratings' going down the toilet if WFWF were aired on TV.
