I'm thinking this will either get moved or locked, but let's see how it goes. Simple enough- Who gives you the creeps? For me, its Lanny Poffo. His mannerisms, the way he speaks & his smile just give me the heebie-jeebies. You didn't bring up his extra-special talent and I applaud you for that. The only wrestler I could ever say creeped me out was Taker's first year in WWF. Not because of his gimmick being a wrestling zombie, but more because GINGER STUBBLE. Ick. Besides that, he proudly said in a shoot interview that he doesn't use toilet paper because he has such a "perfect diet". |

the headhunters. just some seriously weird dudes, and they could bump really well in this odd rollee-pollee manner. combine that with their weird voodooish gimmicks and it was just strange.  I just see Abdullah the Butcher and super fat D-Von Dudley in that picture. That's the guy who gave me nightmares when I was young. |

I was 6 in 97 when Kane and Undertaker were shooting fireballs and lightning bolts about the place. I recall being freaked out by them at the time. ah, this as well! when he lit the guy one fire it was just like 'woah!' |

Without a doubt, Papa Shango.
He uses voodoo. I don't know if it's real or not, but it certainly is scary. Let's face it, it creeps me out.
Papa Shango can use voodoo in the ring on his opponents. He can basically make them lose with that stuff. It isn't fair, but he can do it and it would be hard for the ref to stop it because of religious freedom in this country. Also because of magic.
I'm glad Papa Shango doesn't wrestle anymore. That dude freaks me out. If he still wrestled he'd probably me champ.
Papa Shango is my favorite wrestler.

Not gonna lie growing up he freaked me out Ikr? I'm being genuine with that Waylon "picnic" vignette. I always loved the character though. But Spivey was just so beat up at that point It's a shame Spivey was so hurt because that gimmick was fantastic and a feud with Undertaker could've been great. I'm 100% sure Wyatt used Waylon Mercy as the basis for his own gimmick. |

When i was a kid, somewhere around 7 or 8, I'd buy all the various Apter and Napolitano mags and some of the lesser known ones. And there was this pin up page for a dude named Chris Colt who worked the Continental territory at the time. He was like Satanic era Kevin Sullivan, just waaaaay more creepy. Dude freaked me the hell out. I've tried to find the exact pin up online ,but to no avail. There are pics of him floating around online,.but not many of him in his demonic/punk gimmick. I believe he passed away several years ago,but that one pic stayed with me ever since 85 or so. So much so that i seeked out his work years later just to see him in action. Sadly, the footage that can be had easily is also mostly him in his pre freak gimmick.
