Everytime someone doesnt like a series.. "This is the begining of the end" "Doomed since series 1" legends died.....dm died....entrance greats died....flex force died. its not like series don't disappear. We're pretty much always one really bad wave away from losing a sub-series

Everytime someone doesnt like a series.. "This is the begining of the end" "Doomed since series 1" I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest that this might be the beginning of the end of the HoF line. Regardless of what you think of the figures themselves, it can't be disputed that these are essentially repaints or in Steele's case, a straight-up re-release. All of the accessories look like reissues. The head appear to mostly be old scans. In short, it's got the makings of a series that is either winding down or phoning it in. I have flashbacks to the final sets of the otherwise wonderful Jakks Classic Superstars line.

Edge looks too much like Heath Slater and I can't unsee it.

I'm going to enjoy the ride instead of predicting & waiting for the end. The HOF line won't last forever. WWE partnership with Mattel won't last forever. But damnit if I'm be Chicken Little and shout the sky is falling because of repaints. Truthfully, the HOF line been repaints with a few exceptions. And even those repaints are modified a bit like Yoko's, Tully's and Hennig's height issues.

The series sells great, aside from titos and a few others hanging around. As someone mentioned before, this series is probably to make up for last one. Jimmy hart and brand new figure with new parts and im sure they ate a ton of money on not releasing cactus. I see this series being around for another 3/4 series.

I do wonder if this is the beginning of the end for this line. Regardless of your stance on the reissue subject, this HoF wave has a lot of the trappings of a series near the end of the road: Repaints, reusing old parts, reusing old accessories, etc. The flowers are a nice touch for Steele if you get the reference, but I'd still rather have the cloth shirt. Well, I actually do have the cloth shirt, because I already own the damn figure. The multiple snakes is obviously cheaper than the one snake-cloth bag combo, but I'd still love to see a snake accessory that actually, you know, looks like Damien. Ripped torso for Jake almost feels like a rib because it's been so well documented that he got so immensely over in spite of having such a non-athletic body his entire career. Booker is cool, but I thought that when Elite 14 came out. I don't care about Edge, but that's only because he might be the most overrated top guys of the PG era from an in-ring perspective. QUIET EVERYONE!... The figure expert has spoken.. Seriously though, The HOF line is doing great. Your eBay sales might take a hit, but the figures are still awesome! I'm definitely buying 2 of each except George Steele.

Love Edge's attire! I always get goosebumps whenever I watch his entrance from WrestleMania 24.

Is the Jake from the BP from when he DDT Steamboat, and knocked him out? That's all I could find that matched, and the tights might have been off at that.

Hey, these could be worse. Yes, they are repaints (well, all except Jake with the different torso), but at least they are in ratio cases. I can concievavlbly see two Steeles selling. But if they were solid cases like those damn Network spotlight figures, two would sell and six would rot on shelves. Big Bossman is the current king of wasting retail space at my local TRU.

But... with rereleases and repaints, they're re-using existing sculpts and parts so it helps keep the costs down - all helping the line. And it's not like other (successful) lines have never used repaints and rereleases (Hasbro's Star Wars has been FILLED with them!). Ideally, I would have liked at least one new figure (like with Tito and Jimmy Hart), but it is what it is... I still think Jake and Edge will sell well - and probably King Booker too, for those who missed the first time.

I missed out on King Booker the first time around, so I'd definitely get this one.. I still need Booker in my collection.

Two 80's guys and 2 2000. And no one part of the top top list. Its a first and more than likely only time that'll happen.

Edge is a maybe for me. Just wish they got a little more colorful with him! Belt would be nice, too.
Would get King Booker if I hadn't already picked him up last year.
