When did the internet become such huge fans of Luke Gallows? No one seemed to care about him at all as Festus, his run as Gallows or when he was in TNA. Dude went to Japan and became good.

People just didn't think that they had the balls to do it is all. That is the reason people didn't expect it I would think. Yeah he was getting boos, but nothing that comes close to anything reigns is getting now. Sure something like reigns turning would be decent, but no where near as big as Hogan turning. Cena though. That would be huge. This. I've watched that time period, and while Hogan was booed, he was still had 80% of the crowd regularly. Cena would be the biggest turn since Hogan. It'd be HUGE. I think me and you are the only two people on planet earth with the network that do appreciate that time period. I've recently been rewatching 95 again and it's surprising how much support Hogan still had.

I'm impressed by the way they've all come in, all entirely under the radar. Balor unannounced to help Itami, Styles at the Rumble then Gallows and Anderson coming out of no where Monday to take out the Usos.
WWE's got something here. Let's see if they ruin it.

This. The money to be made there is unthinkable. Do we not understand how trademarks work? There's absolutely no money to be made, but probably plenty to lose if they try and rip off a NJPW copyright. I never said they had to use the "Bullet Club" name. I know that NJPW owns that name.

WWE trademarked Bulletproof and Balor Club already. Everyone in this thread knows that NJPW owns the Bullet Club name. That's not what any of us are talking about. Bullet Club is a filler name until we have an official name to call them by. The group itself is going to make tons of money, regardless of what WWE decides to call them. You sir are correct, it's obvious to us that they won't be called "Bullet Club" but we have nothing else to call them at the moment.

Also see "Apollo Nation". I'm not implying they could bring in the actual "Bullet Club", trademark included, either. I'm simply pointing out it couldn't be done as authentically as some may hope/think. I'm implying it makes absolutely no sense to link any of them up since they're pushing hard to make AJ and Finn solo babyfaces. The ridiculous idea of a "cool DX style heel faction that everyone still cheers" is funny to see people hope for really, it won't happen and even if it did it would clearly be a total disaster in 2016. Even WWE couldn't book with that much of a lack of sense, hence why their debut was saved until after the instant hysteria surrounding AJ had died away. We're getting AJ as designed, Doc and Anderson as a dominant heel Tag Team, and Finn will get a call up eventually. And I'm down with that.. Screw re-runs, isn't that exactly why the nWo flopped in 2002?

So then we can all say wwe has no original ideas and just ripped off new japan?

What a sight it would be to see, to see Balor, Gallows, and Anderson swarm the ring at Payback, stand next to AJ for a bit, only to turn and destroy Styles, with Reigns pulling off his RR chest logo to reveal a bullet club or proof logo. Next night on Raw. "Im not a good guy,....Im a bad guy." Would be the best turn since NWO Hogan. No...absolutely not. I feel like you vastly underestimate how big a deal that was. To a lot of people, that turn was akin to Jesus tossing his halo aside and strapping on horns. They just don't make heel turns like that anymore, and I doubt they ever could. Total left field swerve. Didnt say its as big a deal as Hogan joining NWO.

C'mom ppl it's wwe. Bullet club will form with styles, balor, anderson, and gallows. John Cena will return and beat them 1 on 4. They will all be jobbers in 4-6 months.

You may not have outright said it was as big a deal, but you threw it into a conversation including that statement and drew a comparison. It's easier to just say it would be a good turn...but even then...I don't think it would be. Would anyone at this point honestly even give a damn if Reigns was the best heel in history?

I hope their new theme song has as much autotune and intelligible lyrics as their last one.
