Lethal has been killing it in ROH lately. I wonder if WWE would ever give him a shot. I'm pretty positive he could be a major player in NXT. He's got a pretty good upside since he's still relatively young.
Thoughts?

Was talking about this with someone earlier. I think he'd kill in NXT at the very least.

It depends on whether WWE would want him and whether he would want to go. If he's happy in the indies, similar to the Young Bucks' reason why they wouldn't be interested in going now, why should he go to NXT? Sure it's more exposure, but if he's enjoying the indies and going to Japan every now and then, I'd rather have him stay where he's at.

I love him in ROH and am not sure I have the confidence in the 'E to use him correctly. NXT would be an interesting option. 'E would probably make him some sort of New Day flunky and kill off his heat before he could grow.

I thought they worked well together in TNA but New Day really doesn't need a 4th Member.

I have no doubt Lethal would flourish in NXT. He's got all the skills to make it right to the top.

I'd prefer he stays where he is.

I really want him to go to NXT so I can get a proper figure for my collection but I am much more in favor of the parity provided by him staying ROH.

Like it has been said, in NXT, he'd be great, getting to showcase what he had. On the main roster though, since he's shown his ability to imitate other wrestlers, he'd likely get saddled with that, and be a comedy act.

He's said he'd be open to it, so who knows. Time will tell.

I think Jay Lethal's run in ROH over the last year or so has been great and done a lot to wash off any lingering TNA stink. Personally, I'd prefer he stay in ROH. Right now, NXT and WWE have a few too many indy darling type signees and it would be very easy for Jay to get lost in the shuffle. Maybe 9-12 months from now after we've seen happens with AJ, Zayn, Owens, Joe, Aries, Roode, and Nakamura there might be a good spot for Lethal. Until then, I'd prefer he be a big fish in the little pool that is ROH.
Of all the ROH guys who could go to NXT, my choice would be Dalton Castle. I don't see a ceiling for him. He has everything necessary to succeed except experience.

He's been amazing as heel ROH Champion in recent months. I'm all for it.

Please. Jay Lethal is one of my favorite wrestlers, and he is a damn good heel. But, it has to be a package deal of Lethal and Truth Martini.

Main roster Jay Lethal would definitely end up a comedy act. The only hope would be making it something like New Day where you could also take it seriously. That's largely what Lethal was doing in TNA around the time of his Flair feud.
Heel Lethal is amazing. Great promo. Great worker. It's no coincidence why he's held gold in ROH for such a long period of time. Getting that character in NXT could be really amazing. I'm not against it. I could see it happening. He's not going to have much of anything left to accomplish in ROH once this current title run is over.

I agree, he'd be great on NXT. But NXT only.
Stick with ROH, he's having an amazing run.

I've never seen much of him after I saw him ripping off Macho Man.
