Pretty much a fan of most the belts.. the WWE & WHC situation is a bit confusing.
Not a fan of the current Tag Team Belts really, NXT Tag belts look pro.

Get rid of the goofy logo belts, bring back the Undisputed title and redesign the Women's, IC and tag titles then leave them all alone. The Undisputed Title was better than the current WWE Title or the Spinner WWE Title but I prefer the WHT and the Big Eagle WWE Title. I'd also love if the Winged Eagle came back but I feel it is small to be the top prize. I just find it odd that the Winged Eagle's center plate is smaller than the current (and former) IC Title's main plate. Who thought that was a good idea? So if they were to use the Winged Eagle again or a belt heavily based off of it I would just hope they made the center plate like 25-50% bigger. I think the current IC Title is the best belt design the WWE currently is using so I would be against it changing. I mean unless they are bringing back the awesome oval IC Title that preceded this white strap one I have little confidence they would make a new one that would look as good or better than the current one.. I'm 100% in agreement about the Women's Title already needing a re-design as well as the Tag Titles. The US could be changed I guess but I actually like it now after not liking it for a while. The Undisputed title is one of my favorite belts, but I would love a bigger Winged Eagle it even the Attitude Era title. The classic/current IC title is another one of my favorites but if we're redoing the other titles I figured we might as well change that one as well. I live the title but I'm not feeling the white strap. I wonder how it would look against that weird bronze colored strap from the old foam IC toy belts? I thought including the US title in my original post. But just like you, it took me a very long time to come around on it.

The classic Winged Eagle is my all time favorite.
With that said, I think we need to stop living in the past and the belts shouldn't go back to their old designs. The tag titles should be updated though.

That is absolutely nothing to do with why they changed the belts. WWE World title belt history
It was purely so that WWE could make money from replica's. You are telling me something I have known for well over a decade. In fact, I remember when the WWF announced their going to sell replica championship in the beginning of 2001. There is a difference between a timeless design to something that is outdated. I am sure if the WWE released some of their classic designs such as the Winged Eagle and the 2000-2002 Tag Team Championships with the network logo, it would sell. I know it sounds cliché but nostalgia sells. There is a reason why the WWE came out with the old Intercontinental and Winged Eagle replicas in the mid-00s. The point was, had Bill Parks let them sell his belts they would have kept the winged eagle, etcI mean the Attitude belt was VeRY similar in design as were the tags, not like the subsequent more significant changes. I think he then realised he could make a lot more money making a mass produced version and gave in to WWE, while still making more expensive hand crafted replicas from his own website. I love nearly all of the belts made, but the last 2 wwe titles (i cluding spinner) are a massive bag of shyte!!!!

Aside from the eagle on the Big Eagle (1998-2002), it isn't similar to the Winged Eagle (1988-1998). One of the reasons I heard was the WWF wanted their own original designs. The first championship that the WWF had J-MAR commission was the European Championship in 1997. When it comes to hand made/mass produced belts, the difference is night and day. One drawback of early replica championships is they were made at 2mm vs. 4mm (the thickness on the actual belts). The reason why replicas cost more now than before is because replica championships look more true to the originals than before. I can recall when they started producing hand made replicas. The detriment was you had to wait for the belt to get made and it costed more. As it pertains to the championships the WWE has in their vault, all of them are ring used belts. During the time the WWE used the Winged Eagle design, it is said that 20-25 different belts were commissioned to be made during the 10 year span.

Yeah and him.... :D :D :D Ha, they were both designed around an eagle. The design differences are probably just enough to have avoided copyright issues. I've got to say, my early replica's have been bettered in a lot of ways.....but there is no way I'm having a WWF belt with no F !!!! There are some really cool stories out there. Especially the ones on the 10 lbs of gold, and the big gold.
