I don't understand this current vs. legend debate anymore. The entire current roster is in these games now. Legends don't keep them out. Legends are really all I care about, so hopefully they don't cut anyone. I'm very content with the 2K16 roster, so if Billy Gunn, Neidhart, Davey Boy, Earthquake, Nash etc are cut, I'ma skip the game. Well we know Gunn's out for sure. Maybe, maybe not. If he is, I can just stick with this game. It's honestly not a big deal to me, it's just that the next one won't be able top it for my favorites.

I just hope Seth Rollins is more cut, and less greasy in WWE 2k17.....he was a doughy greaseball in 2k16, lol.

Cody requested his release, they haven't granted it yet so he's still under contract, as are Ryback and Rose. However, it seems pretty obvious that all of them will no longer be in the company by the time the game goes gold and who knows, maybe WWE are upset at Cody for criticizing the writers, so much so that they don't want him in the game. As for Ryback, he basically said on twitter that he's going to TNA once his contract expires, and there really is still plenty of time to remove him. Rhodes was released today. It's on the website. I really don't think it'll be that big a deal really aside from Adam Rose and that's only if he's released. The roster probably would have been finalized in March/April. I doubt wwe will be concerned unless one of these guys make some major headlines. Negative headlines I should add. I was listening to Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer said that the release wasn't very amicable, they're trying to make it difficult for him to do much else in wrestling because he quit mid-contract. He's "released" but they're still trying to hold him to the end of his contract. He compared it to the contract situations when Punk and Del Rio left and also Bryan's situation. So, unless there's some sort of current or modern showcase that features Rhodes, he can easily be cut from the game. Well we know Gunn's out for sure. Maybe, maybe not. No, he failed a drug test and was fired, he's not coming back. If he is, I can just stick with this game. It's honestly not a big deal to me, it's just that the next one won't be able top it for my favorites. Well, that's kinda silly to say, it's just Billy Bitchcakes and there probably will be more Attitude Era guys if they do another HOF Showcase and include a Godfather match.

I doubt Cody is going to be in.....his last two matches of signifigance where like a year ago when he lost to Stephen Amell, and then he lost to John Cena in a John Cena US open challenge match on RAW. I don't think either of those matches would be in a showcase, so Cody/Stardust is probably just going to be not added/removed from the game.
He's done so little over the last year, it might have been a stretch for him to make the game at all. Guys like Zack Ryder and Sin Cara couldn't even make 2k15, and Cody/Stardust was getting to the pont where he was on their level....which is why he quit WWE in the first place.

Billy is one of my all time favorites, so it's not silly. Literally got all of my favorites in one game in 2K16, so without them 2K17 won't be appealing. If he isn't in, fair. I'll sit it out.

I'm not saying there will be I'm saying there should be because I think there is too many legends. Plus I doubt we'll get 6 New Female Characters. That's the whole Female roster for previous games. I know 2K16 got a bigger female roster but I doubt we'll get that many added. I'd love it to happen though. Exactly WWE won't let so many women be in a game. Actually, it would be 9 new females including the rest of the horsewomen, not exactly likely even if they do update MyCareer and add the Women's titles, but there's gonna have to be more NXT representation, don't really care if Dana, Alexa, Carmella, or Nia make the roster but they are more relevant than the rest of the active male NXT roster that I didn't list. Dana Brooke and Carmella should definitely be on this years game imo. And I don't feel like that many new girls will be added this year. WWE Games slack with women's rosters and them not being in MyCareer mode etc.

If they decide on another celebrity for the game like they did with Terminator I think they should put Shaq in. Otherwise just update it to what it is right now
