WCW World Champion Sting vs Big Van Vader - The Great American Bash 1992. Hard hitting encounter, and totally caught off guard by the fact that Sting LOST the Title only a few months into his reign!! Back when you could still be shocked by pro wrestling!

AWWWWWW YEAAAAHHHHHHHH!
WFIGS....DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR....CLAP FOR GREG CAUSE HE RULES AND FEEEELLLL THEEE POOOOWWWEEERRRRRRRR!
Sting is my second all time favorite so this'll be a tough one.
My brain wants to say Starrcade 97, even though the finish sucked
but my heart says Vs Seth Rollins for the WWE WHC at Night of Champions 2015 because I love both guys and that was Sting's last match and it was in a WWE ring for the WWE championship and he put over one of my favorite current stars
So I will honestly go with Sting-Rollins

Mine has to be Sting vs Jake the Snake at Halloween Havoc 1992. Loved the whole storyline and they both put on a great match.

Sting vs Samoa Joe At Bound For Glory 2010(?) it was probably one of my favorite matches of all time featuring either guy.

Has to be Sting vs Triple H for me - who would of ever thought we'd see Sting in WWE competing at Wrestlemania! A dream scanario come true in my eyes.

WCW WHC Sting vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage @ Spring Stampede 1998 w/NWO split seeds further being planted, considering the on-screen AND real life rift between "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash & Hollywood Hogan, who both interfered. Hogan came down first to push Savage off the top turnbuckle prior to being able to hit the flying elbow drop, following Liz accidentally receiving a Stinger Splash due to Macho pulling her in front of him, since she was already in the ring after a botched Sid-esque attempt at a weak chair shot to the back of the silent crow / dark warrior with a voice of silence & mission of justice lol (ref had already been sandwiched twice in a matter of seconds earlier also). Hollywood's smug wiping his hands clean after shoving & sending Savage "launching" off the ropes onto the canvas, crashing upon his hurt, braced knee, as if the job had been thoroughly carried out was hilarious. However, even better was how the match did in fact, FOR ONCE, get a definitive result via a true finish, despite the usual WCW (NWO) run-ins during those days.
Nash quickly countered moments after the Hollywood interjection, as he came out to powerbomb Sting & put Savage in the "driver's seat" for the victory (smacking the ref to "awaken" him & lifting him into place for the pinfall 3-count), making him WCW Champ for all of one night til Hogan pulled his usual behind-the-scenes stunts (or so lore shall have it written at least) and took the belt off Savage on Nitro the next night, 18 years ago to the day on 4/20/98, coincidentally enough.
In the storyline, this was practically the beginning of the Wolfpac, after Schiavone, Heenan & Co. (Can't recall if it was Tenay or Dusty, but surely it probably wasn't Larry Z during the main event match of a PPV show) speculated that merely holding the title meant that the Macho Savage one would somehow become the de facto leader of NWO, since members were choosing sides in the whole Macho vs Hollywood power struggle feud/angle, which had previously lead up to this point, as alluded to above, continuing amid the 4/19/98 Savage vs. Sting encounter. This particular bout was one of several they randomly had in early '98, including some DQ/No Contest nonsense matches/main events in recent weeks/months around that time, whether on TNT Nitro or TBS Thunder.
But anywho, yeah, my two favorite wrestling characters, with my #1 coming out on top over #2, along with a fairly decent NWO defections story, to correlate with a pretty fun match in & of itself as well! Hence, it's a contest I find hard to beat in my book. Thus, not even Red & Black Wolfpac Attack Sting vs Goldberg on 9/14/98 Nitro w/Hogan interference & DQ finish out of storyline jealousy of Sting having the Scorpion Death Lock slapped on the champ Goldberg who already had defeated Hollywood for the big gold belt on Nitro in June, NOR the ultra RARE "match" between the ducking & dodging Hogan vs. Bret Hart PLUS Sting (after Hart faked an injury then came back out to attack STING who helped him haha) on 9/28/98, my 12th birthday, let alone one poster's mention above of Warrior/Sting vs Hogan/Hart on Nitro, can quite surpass my pick of Quadruple 'S' Savage-Sting-Spring-Stampede!

Sting/Cena vs. Show/Kane.
God awful match, but seeing the face of WCW teaming with the face of WWE...something else.
