Is anyone else mad this movie was snubbed for an Oscar? Just terrific.

Kevin James has phenomenal range as an actor, and his daughter in this motion picture is the next big Hollywood starlet.

Cinematic gold, friend. In the year 2015, for us to have come so far as a society where we can openly laugh at fat people for being fat on film but not call people fat in real life because bullying is bad is a true achievement for mankind. How about that daughter of his? Someone has obviously been feeding her after midnight, amirite?! This film really spoke to me in a deep and meaningful way, but mostly just reminded me why I'm not allowed to be around open bags of m&m's. Paul Blart is a once in a generation hero. A man's man. A true icon of cinema. Indiana Jones, James Bond, John McClane and Paul Blart. The Mount Rushmore of action icons. A masterpiece for generations to come, truly.

All satire aside, I enjoyed the film.

All satire aside, I enjoyed the film. I, too, made the mistake of renting this off Redbox and it has its moments. Very, VERY few moments. The first half completely sucked. Blart came off as such a creeper in that first half and was fine in the second half. All in all, you're not missing much if you don't watch this

I enjoy Kevin James. It wasn't as good as the first, but it was worth the $15 I paid at Target for the Blu Ray combo pack.

The only reason he has a career is because Chris Farley died.

i've enjoyed the film too, i don't understand why critics universally denoted it? My Best guess is that it wasn't some generic action movie directed by Micheal Bay or something
just in hindsight i guess

The 2nd one is beyond terrible, I couldn't get passed the first 20 min of it.

Yeah the 2nd one has it's moments but for the most part sucked. The first however was actually an entertaining movie. I really enjoyed it.

Kevin James has phenomenal range as an actor, and his daughter in this motion picture is the next big Hollywood starlet. You're talking about Raini Rodriguez aka Trish on Austin & Ally. Sure she is cute but I wouldn't label her as a starlet just yet.
