This performance is absolutely ing legendary, I love it. The man was highly underrated for his talent on the guitar. Dude proved he deserved to be on the Hall of fame with just that one Solo there. I will miss him so damn much. I have nearly all his CD's except the one that just came out not too long ago. Even all the bands he helped produce too like the Time, Mazarati, The Family, all sorts of stuff. He's a huge part of my family. Gonna watch Purple Rain tonight. Probably Under the Cherry Moon too. I'm so ig bummed guys. I really don't want to believe thus legend is gone Much like Bowie earlier this year, i fully believe Prince left such an indelible mark on pop culture ,not just music, that he can transcend death. He has that same otherworldy type persona, that the Paisley Prince and the Space Oddity live on forever whether they're here or not. They helped shape and redefine music and eras......spirits that strong do not leave without a trace

I'm not a fan of Prince, but I still recognize his talent. R.I.P.

Somewhat hard to beliive, he didn't seem like the type to be doing drugs. The guy was a Vegan and always looked healthy at all his apperances. The dude hadn't aged physically passed 18. I hope that wasn't the case.

Damn...that's horrible to hear if that's the case. A performer at his level for 30yrs...has to take a toll on the body. Ive heard he needed the cane...we all thought it was just his cool pimp schtick. TRUE Entertainers give alot to us and they sacrifice their lives, body...sanity all of that. It takes its toll. Due to his flu/pneumonia symptoms it was probably a bad mixture of those new meds with the meds he was already on....or maybe it was just his calling.

Still so bizarre. I've listen to Purple Rain so many damn times in the last day. Not to mention his greatest hits a few times. They man was a once in a lifetime performer. I'm so bummed I didn't have the chance to see him live.

That was great. I've heard the Kevin Smith and Charlie Murphy stories before but that Questlove one was great. lol. Thanks for sharing.

Wednesday was a tough day. I had the unbelievable opportunity to surprise my mom w/ tickets to his Hit and Run Tour last June. Two hrs before the show, told her we're going to see Prince tonight, get dressed. I grew up listening to Purple Rain. My Gma seemingly had it on repeat. Mind you, I was born in 1986. I'm talking about in 1989, 90, 91, that record was still on repeat. LOL His music will live forever. Deservedly so.
