I really hate seeing the same matches Monday and thursday....you see the same guys, the same fueds, the same matches. And it really leaves guys on a lower level teir to not even see ring time. I loved the draft mainly for this reason. All tho they made the raw brand the best draft and show, it gave guys like jbl and eddie, amongst many other talented guys, a chance to shine in their own over in smackdown.
I feel like misusing the wyatts, the ascension, and guys like this is not only a waste of talent, but it's a huge flaw in fans. I would love to see the wyatts just take over like the ministry did in the attitude era. But it obviously isn't going to happen on raw. I think it would be great to see a draft again, and I really thought with Shane coming back the way he didx they were going to start leading up to that. I think "very for business" is having the authority move to smackdown and turn it back into its own brand, and giving Shane control of raw...or vice versa...
What's everyone's thoughts on this?
I understand if you enjoy seeing the same match twice per week...but there are a lot of guys who will never shine due to lack of time they have to shine the others

I'd be OK with a brand split as long as Raw goes back to 2 hours. I feel like a 3 hour Raw with only half the roster would be a disaster.

I'd be OK with a brand split as long as Raw goes back to 2 hours. I feel like a 3 hour Raw with only half the roster would be a disaster. I think dropping RAW back to two hours is actually counterproductive. If WWE goes into another brand split, it opens up a great deal of time for new guys to get exposure on main roster TV and you create the element of upper and lower midcard wrestlers. RAW can stay 3 hours, WWE however, need to make sure that they utilize their time wisely. If they were to use the first hour of RAW to showcase NXT guys, sort of like WCW did with the cruiserweights it could work. At the end of the day, WWE doesn't need a brand extension, they need better time management skills, they have 5 hours of week on TV where they an build and expand story lines, there is truly no reasons for for rehashing of Monday, on Smackdown TV.

Even though the brand split will benefit some guys to get pushed, if you're sick of the same matches with no brand split, why would splitting the roster in half work? If anything, we'll just be seeing the same matches even more. The solution IMO will always be just make the IC Title like the World Heavyweight Championship was or like it was in the 80's and early 90's. Make the IC Title almost as important as the World Title. Also, this is why it's not a bad idea having enhancement talent on shows. It puts wrestlers that people want to see without having to book a random match between two people that would make a great feud in the future just to "make it fresh". It worked very well back in the day, it's a concept that if done right (AKA not necessarily have an entire show full of squash matches, but stay have enhancement talent at least once a show), it won't hurt the show. It'll also help to not have wrestlers wrestle two shows in one week. Example, Kevin Owens can just cut a promo on RAW and wrestle on Smackdown or vice versa. There, I sorta made a concept that didn't need splitting up the roster in two to make things fresh. A brand split will only be exciting for a month or two and then they would resist not having RAW guys on Smackdown for the heck of it.

2005 was the last best draft, afterwards it just became a joke. I do miss it though.

Depends on how it's handled. If it's used to bring a fresh take on the business and bring us new stars, I'm all for it. If it's used to get Cena, Orton, or Roman more TV time, then I do not want it.

I really hate seeing the same matches Monday and thursday Cutting the rosters in half would only add to the amount of rematches that we'd get on a weekly basis.
