I could kick out of the forearm. It's a fine move, just not a finisher.

I'm fine with it as long as the Styles Clash is used on special occasions such as PPV's and a last ditch effort. It should be a true Match Ender, whereas the Flying Forearm can be his standard Raw/Smackdown Finisher.

Smashing your forearm straight into a geezer's face, from a height and at speed, seems like a legit finisher to me. Looks more legit and believable than the crappy superman punch.

That forearm smash will last till aj slips doing it and gets hurt like breaking his neck or something
I REALLY hope that doesn't happen tho

I think we just got too used to seeing AJ use the forearm as a signature/setup move his whole career and now all of a sudden it's a finisher. Don't mind him using it against jobbers like the Social Outcasts but I hated him beating Zayn with it. Also didnt like Jericho kicking out of the Clash at WrestleMania. Hopefully he hits it on Roman this weekend and the refs down or something, rather than having Roman kick out of it.

I honestly hate the Styles Clash as a finisher. So I'm glad he's moved away from it.

I did as we were talking about it earlier lol.

They wanted me to referee the match. I didn't want to, so I just sat down and went through Wfigs on my phone. While they were wrestling, I heard one of them say, " I'm gonna do the forearm". I told him not to as he could injure himself, but he did it anyways and he did exactly what you described- jumped off the back of the couch.

Did Rollins ever hit the Phoenix Splash successfully in WWE? Everytime I saw him do it he'd end up turning it into a forward roll because his opponent rolled out the way. On topic though a lot of the wrestlers who have podcasts do always go on about how any high spots worth avoiding is the best way to go so that might explain the lack of Spiral Tap or Springboard 450. Whilst I don't mind the springboard forearm or calf crusher, I wish they kept the Styles Clash as his main finisher seeing as many of us have seen him use it for like 15 years or so.

Royal Rumble '15 in the Triple Threat.

Crap I completely forgot about that, after youtubing it it's probably because Lesnar grabs him straight after for a German suplex lol.

I would like it to be a setup for the corkscrew 450.

This reserves Styles Clash and Springboard 420 as Match enders. I like this. Too many true finishers get 2 counts. This way, the speingboard forearm can get many 3 counts and few 2 counts without tainting his better know finishers.

Remember when it didn't even knock the likes of Abyss off his feet? I've always loved the move. It's beautiful to look at but in no way is it a finisher.
