...eh, this is an easy pass for me.
1. I'm not a huge fan of Warrior in a singlet. I passed on that other Elite Warrior in a singlet as well. 2. This was nowhere near a Defining Moment in the Warrior's career. It would be fine as an Elite but I don't think it has any business in a Defining Moments slot. 3. The accessory is...a pair of sunglasses?!
I'm glad to see other people are finally starting to catch on that Mattel is dropping the ball every now and then.
p.s. For everyone saying how well this will sell...there are still stores that have that Elite 26 Warrior in the singlet. Elite...26. We're currently on Elite 42/43.

That is why you're still seeing this figure on the shelves.

I LOVE this figure. But having said that, is it really worth £6 more (here in the UK) than a regular Elite? It's the same as with the GAB Sting figure - they just seem like regular Elites, in Defining Moments packaging... I don't know... I love the DM line and want it to do well and continue - but it's really hard to justify charging so much extra for what are basically regular Elite figures (£19.99 would be a far more acceptable price, IMO).

its not that. why couldnt they use that spot for a first time in the line or any other highly demanded figure? They did use the spot for a highly demanded figure. Mattel is a multi billion dollar company, they know what they're doing. Warrior is a massive seller for them, obviously. The numbers do not lie, look how many they've made is it really? i'll just leave it here

Come on, I get t, your not a fan, but Mattel know exactly who the money makers are. And Warrior is massive money maker. Fact, no amount of trolling by anyone will change that

Besides, if you really wanted to get it for under $20, hope that a 20% TRU coupon or a rewards cash is around during it's release. I'll buy it regardless, the box art is cool and it's Warrior. There are a few names you don't pass up! By the way, just because a ton E26 Warriors ended up at a few KMart stores, doesn't prove he's a shelf warmer. Experienced collectors know that Warrior figures rarely sit long.

Its the same boring people over and over again. I dont know why you bite.

Savage should've been the DM while Warrior should be in Elite line.

Elite 26 is a great figure I don't think anyone is saying that the Elite 26 isn't a great figure. Warrior figures sell. I'm not going to argue anyone on that. They never hang for very long on the shelves. However, with that said...I'm not sure if it's because the Elite 26 figure was waaaaay overproduced or if people just do not buy Warrior figures as much when he's wearing a singlet because it's not really his iconic look. I guess we'll find out based on how fast these DM Warriors move. I think the real issue here is that the Defining Moments line isn't at all what it used to be. When I think of Defining Moments, I'd rather see stuff like: * Ricky Steamboat from WM3 in his white gear with a cloth shirt, blue ring bell and classic IC title. * Goldust from 96ish with a wig and gold IC Title (maybe a robe if we're lucky). I'll admit that the DM Warrior is a cool looking figure but this is nowhere near a "defining moment" in his career. This would have been fine in the Elite line as a Flashback but it's yet another waste of a Defining Moments spot (which sucks even more because we get so few per year).

Never been a huge Warrior fan outside of the promos, but this is awesome.

Definitely shouldn't be taking a DM spot and Mattel is hurting that line with this figure but a very cool fig nonetheless. I'll get him and macho, open them, throw out the packaging and display them together so doesn't matter to me other than the damage they're doing to the DM line.

When you look at the figures we got in the DM line: Ric Flair Hulk Hogan Crow Sting Undertaker (admittedly I wasn't pleased with it being a rerelease)
These all came with a either luxury or lots of accessories
This DM Warrior is really ridiculous and would have less paint apps than the E28 one so no reason it should be a DM. WM12 Warrior would have been appropriate choice or the UM Macho (with coat glasses etc).
Personally I won't buy this at the inflated price unless I can get it on sale at an elite price or on secondary market.

its not trolling, i just didnt understand why you think that all warriors sell when e26 clearly shelf warms, in reality and in the web. i never said those are bad figures, all warrior figs are awesome, i just dont plan on buying him. i think they made too many warriors and it doesnt make sense to me since there are many wrestlers who never got a single figure. plus, i thought DM was supposed to be a line where we get the extra care with exclusive cloth accessories and such like the guy above me said, and that warrior looks like something they couldve slide in a normal elite line along with the fitting macho man in the same set. ultimately you pay 25-30$ in US for an elite that doesnt come with anything its quite disappointing, still he looks cool but shouldnt be a DM.
I get that he's your favorite superstar but you dont need to over defend this call. about what i posted, its not like i read every single comment here about warrior ever that i know what i should say or not. im just stating my opinion, what's wrong with that?
my favorite superstar is RVD for example, but its not like i want every single attire he ever had in elite, when i know his spot could be used for others.

To be fair the e26 Warrior seemed to have solid cases of just him. I know both the TRU and KMarts around here went from zero figures to 12 overnight. Which would be 2 cases. That said it will be an easy pass for me as I was never a fan of the singlet look for Warrior. Will also pass on Macho if he is in the UM attire.
