An old group of friends I no longer really talk to (for reasons I won't bore with) would really get a huge kick out of this. Pretty cool stuff, as a Gameboy/NES/SNES fan myself. + I've dabbled with midi and enjoy it, just forget a lot of what I used to know and need to find my manuals for a lot of my gear... or online tuts. My one buddy would also really like this I bet. He's working on a computer game right now and is pretty far-along into it... 3rd demo so far, might be greenlit on STEAM, not sure- I told him to give it a try or go thru the process, it's pretty good for an indie sidescroller. I digress though- my point was going to be how he used some of his own music from an instrumental track album of sorts he had made prior but not used for this game's soundtrack, when all was said and done, which I thought was neat because it fit the game well. He's into oldschool nes/gameboy etc. and likes stuff like this. I'll pass along your bandcamp to him. Neat stuff though for sure. I would be curious to hear the album before you remixed it Gameboy style, too. I gotta upload some demos I've recorded (most are pretty low-fi at this point) or find a link to my older band's bandcamp or whatever the site we used was...soundcloud maybe. Some fun times. I've been lazy to make a new site for my new(er) recordings tho.
