This thread has made me go nostalgia mode on past WWE themes for their shows/PPVs. How did we go from the stuff they used in the late 90s-mid 00s to ing Flo Rida and Nickleback and generic bubble gum Rock?

I thought Beautiful people helper modernise the Show along with the rebranding. Rise Up was also strong and fit the brand well.

I still can't believe how they went from Marilyn Manson's Beautiful People, which might I add: it got your ass pumped for the program, to Want it all, kind of a downgrade when you think about it (Smackdown's wrestling was top notch at that time, yet they had to display it with a meh theme, unless the joke was RAW at that time was complete and utter poo and a meh theme for Smackdown in comparison makes it look 1000x better, I don't know), but anyways
how'd I rank em:
1. Beautiful People (gets your ass pumped for wrestling, like getting megatons of shots of testosterone right in the gonads) 2. Rise Up (decent theme for Smackdown at the time) 3. Know your Enemy (kind of a blur) 4. Born 2 Run (good year for Smackdown, and it matched it) 5. Let It Roll (marked the great transformation of Smackdown, was a decent theme to boot) 6. If you rock like me (just a hair better than Want It All, but not by much) 7. Want It All (didn't click with Smackdown, but not bad in general) 8. This life/Black and Blue (never heard of them) 9. Incoherent Gibberish (only memorable for being gibberish, i can guarantee if it happen in today's time, people would be complaining)

Big fan of the Orginal (Everybody on the Ground), Beautiful People, every version of Rise Up, and Let It Roll.

I love the original theme. It just fit. Plus it was used when Smackdown actually mattered.

The Beautiful People, hands down. Along with the 2003-2004 Raw Across the Nation intro this is my favorite one.

Know your enemy represents a bad time in smackdown history to me.

Rise Up has to be my favorite theme song, I hated the remake version of the song though. Black and Blue is also a pretty good for Smackdown. The top 4 SD songs for me is Rise Up, Beautiful People, I Want It All, and Black and Blue.

I liked Incoherent Gibberish, but I also liked The Beautiful People. I'm kind of torn between Rise Up and Know Your Enemy. After hard thinking and listening to them, I will go with Rise Up. Hearing that theme play when I start up SvR 07 led me to choose it. It was also good Smackdown then, so.
