I don't like him right now at all. Seems like he has some talent in the ring, but it's hard to take him seriously with his terrible gimmick.
I am a big fan of NXT. But when he is on, I either watch and laugh at how bad it is, or fast forward.
And it's not a good laugh when I watch him, like i get when I watch "perfect 10", it's a "I can't believe they think this is good" laugh...

I don't get the gimmick.....in this era of reality based characters, to me, people like him and the Wyatts just don't make sense. You are employed by the WWE, you shouldn't be a "drifter" or some hick cult leader living in the swamp someplace. It's just unrealistic. Do the Wyatt's sit around the table and do their taxes together every year? How does HR mail them their paychecks? Gimmicks like this just don't work anymore. Guys like Undertaker only work now because they started in the era where that stuff was acceptable and everyone was either a superhero or a super villain. I just don't buy cartoonish gimmicks anymore and if you tried to do a new Undertaker or Sting in 2016 in a universe that has legit people like Lesnar, Ambrose, Owens, Zayn, Cesaro (even though him tearing his suit off is cringe-worthy), they would just stick out as unrealistic. I would assume Bray's dad does it for them.

How does HR mail them their paychecks? I laughed way harder at the thought of this than I should have.

He won't make it far with his current gimmick. He will be the next Tyler Breeze if he keeps up the way he's going. And at least Tyler Breeze has talent. I have some questions about him. 1) If he is a "drifter" (has no real home) and is often spotted in Pittsburgh, how does he make it to Florida to get his ass kicked by Apollo Crews? Wouldn't it make more sense for him to be from Florida? 2) When he sings, does anyone else feel like he's serenading the other wrestlers in a rather creepy way? 3) If he is a "drifter" then does that mean he is not employed by WWE? Or do they just pay him in sandwiches and moonshine? 4) Why does he wear so much jewelry if he's a drifter? 5) Why the does he have that ing guitar if he isn't going to hit anybody with it? Why are his jeans so nice? They look like they came from True Religion, 7 For All Mankind, Lucky Brand or some other jeans that cost an arm and a leg.

Except for the 'perfect 10'. I applaud the fact he's got some semblance of a character instead of just Generic Dude In Trunks #2907, but c'mon - I'm not giving him any credence because 'that's what he deserves', it's literally a non-issue for me - he's...I can't even finish this sentence...!

I really want to like the Drifter, but there are a lot of aspects of his gimmick that are unbalanced.
At the moment it seems like he/WWE can't decide if they want him to be a mentally unbalanced drifter or cocky performer type. These two aspects of the character really don't seem to mesh well.
If the gimmick is fine tuned a bit, I will be ready to get on the bandwagon.

Yah I never really noticed that but now that you pointed that out I do agree that they need to find a direction they would like to go in, I am fine with both, but yah the need to choose.

I think he may have "drifted" out of somebody's good graces and lost his push......Nakamura beat him easily last week. Not the type of match you book if you're trying to get Sampson over.
