I buy doubles of pretty much every figure, which is not entirely overboard considering that I only collect ECW originals, NWA guys, and a certain few older WWE and WCW guys. I have 3 Rubbermade drawers full of figures. Top drawer is where I keep the commonly used/battle tested figures, which are ones that I'm not afraid to beat up or play with. Middle drawer is for accessories and figures that I don't use too much of. I also throw some of my limbless ones in middle that were used for custom or part swaps. The bottom drawer is where I keep the gems hidden. The most I have of any one figure would be 3 of the elite RVD. He is a favorite of mine and it was difficult to find one with a good paint job. Anyway, I'm just curious in case anyone would care to comment, thanks.

I don't have any doubles yet. But I will. Starting with RSC Jericho, when I get it that is. One for loose/display, one for MOC/display.

Give them away.
I have the Matty Exclusive Andre, and when I picked up the Heenan Family box I ended up with an extra Andre that was inferior to that one. So its getting shipped out to my friend. Once I pick up all three Elite versions of New Day, the Basics that I have will be on a one way flight to Chicago.
I only keep one copy of the figure I want, and the version(s) I want.

I have any one version of any flashback/legend that I want loose for my son to play with. I have one favorite version of a favorite wrestler Moc for me. And when a new better version comes out, I sell the other. (Example: I had legends mr perfect and e29 Andre Moc. When the heenan family was announced, I sold mr perfect for $70 and gave the Andre away to my nephew)

I don't buy doubles, the only time I considered it was when I got Elite 30 Batista backwards, it would of been my first MOC figure. I don't get doubles as I collect current, some legends and NXT and so I couldn't afford to buy doubles, also always has a voice my head thinking say for example I could get another Elite 38 Reigns or that money could be spent on Elite Umaga. I also can't afford because I buy Logo Star Wars, LotR and Hobbit. If I could afford it (which I would love to be able to do) I would probably keep them MOC or open them to custom or fix up. Good topic for a thread, very interesting

I only buy doubles of wrestlers I like, I currently own a pair of Elite Seth Roillins (both the latest Elite & Seth Cashes In) and Dean Ambrose (the Elite with the hooded jacket & kendo stick). I typically keep one MOC & one loose.

I buy figures to display loose. I try to buy only 1 of each with a few exceptions. If I'm buying a double of somebody then I will display it. If a multipack forces me to buy a double then I will try to figure out how to work them into my display or get rid of them.

I try and change one and use it for "play." For example I have 2 of the black pants Rollins, and on one version I added hands, and took off the gloves. I also have 2 of the TRU Cena, and for one I added plain black kneepads and arms with plan black wrist bands. Try to change them so they stand out a little.

I keep them as back up if my main one breaks or customs.

I have never had the desire to buy doubles of a figure unless I was going to use it for parts.

The true answer is that most of them scalp or "help out their friends" Personally, I think buying more than two of a figure is just obnoxious. But at the same time, it's their money (hopefully not their parents). I just feel bad for kids who go to the store with their parents and don't find what they're looking for because some guy bought 5-6 of one figure. Just ridiculous.

I wanted to get a second Demon Balor to keep MOC but my wife said no. We don't buy duplicates. Or as we say around here, "No dupes!"

If I like the character, I'll buy multiple.

The only time I've bought doubles was for making Hogan customs we will never get. It's glotony when people clean house when a new figure or series comes out.

I put 'em on the Bay after I get [so many]. Some guys necessitate multiple looks (Macho Man/King, Warrior, Sting, etc.) but for 90% only one version is enough.

I buy doubles, typical 1 MOC 1 loose but this is a habit I'm trying to break away from since I'm starting to feel over crowded with figures. That new spotlight HBK didnt help though. I did get 2 to do the same and left the others. Doing customs doesn't help this habit either.
