the new Sting...how about at least a big gold belt? Absolutely. Even though I'm a MOC collector, I'll be opening my GAB Sting up, slipping the Big Gold belt onto him, then sealing him back up... should look great - it's a real shame Mattel couldn't have included it.

Surprised no one's mentioned Wrestlemania X HBK, it's definitely a defining moment & would be fairly simple to do, even with the sunglasses, vest & chaps(whatever they're called).
Others I'd like to see:
-Wrestlemania X Owen &/or '97 Hart Foundation with Jacket & 2 Slammys (doubtful, but one can dream) -Tokyo Dome Bull Nakano with Women's Title, based on her win (based on the '94-95 version) -Wrestlemania VIII Roddy Piper with IC Title, shirt & kilt -90's Goldust with Gold IC Title -Summerslam '92 Bulldog with new headscan, IC Title & cloth robe

WM III Macho with CLOTH robe, glasses, headband, and IC title Goldust with CLOTH robe and wig pretty much any Flair with a cloth robe
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my heads that would be worth the extra 5 bucks for sure.

The Ultimate Maniacs...these promos alone make them DM worthy. Also need Macho Wm 3.

Eh, IYH: DX wasn't really a defining moment, but this should definitely be released as an Elite. True but mattel hasn't exactly been releasing the latest ones from a defining moment since before its cancel.

A Gobbledy Gooker figure that came in a breakable egg would be a interesting idea I think. Also ya, Macho from mania 3 with the robe and headband needs to happen. Would love a crazy expression on Macho as well.

True but mattel hasn't exactly been releasing the latest ones from a defining moment since before its cancel. That isn't entirely true. Both Sting figures were defining moments in his career. GAB '90 his first World title victory. And Starrcade '97 beating Hogan for the World title.

if im paying (or supposed to be paying) $25+ for a figure it should come with more than a plastic jacket or a pair of sunglasses Look at the original DMs HBK comes with a cloth, shiny, detailed overcoat, cloth vest Macho Man, full cloth jacket and long tassels Austin came with a cloth jacket, shirt, plus a hat HHH came with a full cloth outfit Undertaker had the awesome bat cloth cape Warrior with the detailed cloth duster Cena with the cloth jersey/shirt and TWO belts THOSE felt like "premium figures". Cloth goods, extra accessories and over-the-top attires The newer ones so far only Flair & Sting have really felt like I was getting my money's worth. I guess maybe Hogan....but his stupid cut-in-half plastic shirt was a let down. Yeah the new Austin comes with 3 belts...but really? 3 belts? My thing is with someone like Razor....throw a ladder in there the new Sting...how about at least a big gold belt? and then you get that big exciting re-release that everyone was clamoring for and wanted more than anything (Undertaker) rotting on pegs everywhere and the next one....Warrior? that is insulting as a collector. DM's are just becoming Flashbacks that you have to pay more for because "memorable attire" I agree. The line went from premium figures with top of the line accessories and outfits to just Elite FB's in fancy packaging. The "Ultimate Maniacs" Warrior and especially Razor Ramon show this. Now,not going to say they're not good figures - both were definite wants for me. But both should've been FB's in the regular Elite line, and not DM. Macho from the "Ultimate Maniacs" should've been the DM, so we could get the proper hat, glasses, shirt, and coat.

Would love a crazy expression on Macho as well. I think the Gooker would've been perfect as a SDCC exclusive. If we ever get Mania III Macho, mark my words - the robe will be plastic/rubber. Way too much deco and different colored material would be needed to do it justice. Purple, silver, blue, black, and white, not to mention the feather boa trim.

Wrestlemania 3 Macho Man. With cloth robe, headband, and classic Intercontinental title. Don't forget the shades, because if you do, so might Mattel I mean they included knee pads (coulda used ONE Austin brace instead or something), incorrect boots withOUT tassels & ski-shades from the '80s for NWO Macho Man fan pack that is upcoming...which, by the way I'll still get, despite the horrible, stoic scan used on FAR TOO MANY Macho Man figures...could have AT LEAST utilized his intense face scan & proper shades from the elite version and who cares if it hardly differs it'd be a lot more ACCURATE! Btw, bandana woulda been nice too. It'd be a really nice opportunity for those of us who do NOT have the RSC NWO Macho to have the next best thing, but they really flubbed up the basic one. Oh well, I guess. Like I said, still GOTTA get the thing...and they know that very well too, unfortunately. Damn Mattel sometimes man, just damn them!

One thing that gets brought up most times in the past when discussing the Defining Moments line is what "Defining Moments" actually stands for. Can't remember who said it (was a while ago) but I personally agree with them that "Defining Moments" is simply the name of a line and reading too much into it will just end up driving you crazy. You look at guys released and some you might say yup that was "THE" Defining Moment of his career", then others its only "A" DM of his career", then some its "A memorable moment", then its "A memorable outfit/attire".
So my advice, forget about whether its a defining moment or not and more if it warrants the $5+ price increase.

I think people forget that the DM line is supposed to be for figures that have a high deco or have an elaborate costume, which justifies the higher price point. I can't justify a Goldberg or Daniel Bryan for example figure in the line which can be easily slotted in the regular elite line.

So my advice, forget about whether its a defining moment or not and more if it warrants the $5+ price increase. Agreed. I've come to just accept the figures represent a "Memorable Moment" in the wrestler's career. To be fair, the line, from the beginning, wasn't completely about "Defining Moments" . I mean, just look at what we've gotten: Macho Man - WrestleMania VII. A great match, great attire, but hardly a true defining moment of his career. Hell, he lost the retirement match! Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 25. Again, one of my favorite matches ever, a distinct attire, but I would think the true defining moment of his carrer was winning the World Title at Mania XII. And,again,he lost the match this attire is based on! Ultimate Warrior - WrestleMania VII. The match vs Savage, but not the defining moment of his career. That would've been a year earlier at Mania VI (which we ironically got in the Legends line). The Rock - Raw is War. An entertaining segment, "This Is Your Life Rock!", but hardly the defining moment of his career. The Undertaker - Survivor Series 1996 - an interesting attire, and change in character, but FAR from a defining moment in his career. Stone Cold - Raw is War. Pretty much the same as the Rock above. Triple H - Raw is War. A big moment, his big return. But,again, not THE moment of his career. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - Summerslam 1991. Oh,Christ! Not even going there, even though I DO love the figure for filling a Hasbro-inspired collection need. Bret Hart - IYH : Canadian Stampede. While this figure is kind of a general 1997 Bret, the event it was based on was an important event in his career, but certainly not the defining one. John Cena - Raw Draft. Much like above, an important event, but not THE important event in his career. I'd argue it was winning the WWE Title for the first time that launched him. .... So,these were all the figures before the line got cancelled the first time. Some great figures, some great attires, but really no truly DEFINING moments for any of them,in my opinion. More like Noteworthy Moments Where They Wore Cool Attires. The Dragon especially - a quickly forgotten gimmick ,based off a forgettable 6-man tag match that opened the PPV? A Defining Moment?

Goldust - Royal Rumble 1996. Plastic robe like elite 6, plastic wig, gold IC title (the gold title would be cheating a little for Rumble 96 but meh).
Undertaker - King of the Ring 1998. With entrance robe and that grey chair.
Mankind - This is Your Life, 1999. Basically the Elite 17 figure with a Rock & Sock jacket, Mr Rocko and a book.
Chris Jericho - WrestleMania X8. With entrance shirt and two titles.
Edge - the Raw where CM Punk cashed in Money in the Bank on him. With t-shirt, removable jeans (as long as they can do better now than the HHH ones), and World title. Purple camo gear underneath. Not much of a defining moment though really.
