this was a bad idea..lol.. ive never bought a figure at walgreens. (i know alot of you have) it just makes no basic sense as to why they would release this HBK in this magnitude..just boggles me. i guess we wait and see if this becomes a easy or rare find.

Awful figure, but Walgreens have been getting into the limited toy game for a while now. Pretty sure theyre trying to expand their toy and collectible section as well

It's not the best HBK figure. Especially since 2006 DX sucked. But being that I am an HBK collector, if I ever did see it, I would get it. I'm trying to buy all HBK Elites. Whoever's decision it was to make a figure a Walgreen's Exclusive...I don't even know what to say. Way to make it extremely difficult for your customers to find your product. *facepalm*

(i know alot of you have) it just makes no basic sense as to why they would release this HBK in this magnitude..just boggles me. i guess we wait and see if this becomes a easy or rare find. What about this 'boggles' you? 1) That Mattel made this HBK? - That I can't answer. I think there are a lot of better options, but this was a last minute replacement, so I'll cut them some slack. 2) That Mattel chose to sell it at Walgreen's? - My guess is that when retailer with over 8,000 locations(more than Walmart) wants to carry your product, the smart thing to do is to do business with them. At least try it and see how it goes. Now Walgreens will not do near the volume that a Walmart does, but even if Walgreens can only sell one case of figures per store(not all stores will carry them though), how much money does that add to Mattel's bottom line? Evidently enough that they are trying it. 3) Why Walgreen's decided to sell a WWE exclusive figure? - Walgreen's wants to get as many people in their stores as possible. Marketing to a group of people that may not normally go into your store is one way to do that. I've seen a number of comments on here from people that don't shop at Walgreens, going to Walgreens to get WWE figures. Walgreens hope is to make those people repeat customers. Not only for figures, but for any number of other things that may have caught that new customers attention. - As said above, Walgreens has been reaching out to collectors for a couple years now. Selling sought after exclusives for the Walking Dead, Marvel, Star Wars, various Funko and other lines. It must be working because they keep adding exclusives.

I will gladly wait until some of you guys find it before I drag around to these stores looking. I'm just waiting for a thread to come out in 2 weeks saying the figure has been pushed back 2 months or something.

Cena at WM 23 and London Raw, Flair at WM 24, The Jericho series in 2008, Taker at WM 25, and a bunch of others. HBK himself was very good in that era, but DX itself was lame. Oh, and count me among those who think putting this figure in Walgreens is stupid.

O Hbk was awesome and had great matches during that period. But when i think of Hbk 93 thru 97 belonged to Hbk. I just feel during that time , He wasnt the same. Great perfomer, And was awesome but thats Hbk, Willie Mays, Magic Johnson of Wrestling.

Some of you all are acting like this is gonna be so hard and rare to find... Come on there's walgreens everywhere and damn near on every corner anymore. Tell that to all the people that are still looking for numerous different exclusive Pop vinyl and Mystery Mini figures and Marvel Legends Daredevil and Agent Venom. The Black series Emperor's Wrath Vader was hit-and-miss too. In some areas I gather it's falling off shelves and in others I've seen reports of people that are STILL looking for it. So far, the only exclusive figures that Walgreens has gotten that seem to have been extraordinarily easy to find across the board have been the Tyrion Lannister Funko Legacy figure and the Stackdown blind bags. With the way things are shipped to Walgreens, sometimes it's feast or famine.

I have to drop my fiance off to get her hair done tomorrow afternoon, and there is a Walgreens literally right across the street from her hair salon. I will obviously be going to that Walgreens tomorrow afternoon to see if this HBK figure is there and will let you guys know when I get home. But I'm definitely not getting my hopes up.
