Took some time to give the show a thorough read through. Very enjoyable. Makes me glad I decided to join up. Now to comment on the matches:
Shapiro vs Hall vs Skinner - good opening match, not spectacular but it set the tone well.
Lynn vs Jette - I'm biased, I wrote it, I like it, 'nuff said. Plus, I WON! Yay me!
Vass/Alexander vs Richardson/Toboggan - somebody took their grumpy pills before writing it (I'm glad I included lots of details in my bio in case a certain somebody has to write a match with me in it).
Bison vs. Wolf - I got the feeling the whole match was just a setup for the post match beatdown and reveal but I have no idea who O'Deeves is (or even who RPs him). Looks like there is a lot of backstory to catch up on.
Nitta vs Dex - Good match that I wish was a little longer. Sorry Dex that my face vs face match featured not one but two handshakes so the commentators looked a little stupid (or suffer from short term memory loss) when they said they never see handshakes in a WFWF match.
Brennan vs Whitner vs Shannon - another good match but the impact was lessened since we all knew Brennan was winning thanks to no shows
Crowe vs Stone - I feel bad for Cam. He wrote what I think is the MOTN but in a losing effort. I want to see a rematch.
Demon vs Dean - Sorry guys, I used your match as a bathroom & smoke break. I'll have to read it later
Drake vs Ahriman - Wild match befitting the intensity of the feud but to be honest, the ending left a sour taste in my mouth. The announcers said it best when they pointed out that the only man moving in the ring wasn't even in the match and he determined the winner. Is this really the end for Samael or is there more to come?
Overall - Am I wrong or were the only faces to win those who were in face vs face matches? Really enjoyed being a part of this. I'm ready for the next show.
Well it's hard for faces to win when there's only like...five, and three of them were tied up in feuds or with guys who were heels and better than them.
This is why I push for more faces, but everyone wants to be the bad guy.
