I believe he was suffering way more than we will ever really know.

I've been saying this for years. If I could have the WWE make one legit, full blown documentary, it'd be on the life of Andre. How they haven't done one in the Network Era boggles my mind.

"The 8th Wonder of the World" was quite a fitting nickname.

I would love that, but a lot of the stories would be told second hand now because of all the deaths. There would be a lot of "this one time Andre and Curt Hennig we're at a bar and...." told by Curtis Axle.

I wish he wouldn't have died so young, but he had so many health issues that he wouldn't have had any quality of life. There are many bad side affects that come along with being a Giant, unfortunately....

But guys like Tim White, who was extremely close with Andre, should be a big part of it. Also Pat Patterson, Jake Roberts, Hogan, etc. There's still a lot of guys who he worked programs with & are still part of the WWE family. If done properly, I think it could be done as well as the Rise & Fall of ECW documentary, which I consider the best they've ever done.

I share a birthday with Andre and Chewbacca. I'm in good company.

I find it ironic that his last TV appearance was for WCW

A & E had a pretty nice biography in the late 1990s (I think '98). This was released on VHS by Coliseum Video, IIRC. A few years later, I think 2004-2005, WWE released a DVD but it was just a re-release of a 1980s Coliseum Video featuring a few late 70s, early 80s babyface matches. It was nice to see, as an Andre fan, but a biography would've been much better. I have to wonder, if the reason a WWE sponsored documentary has never been released. One guess could be, that he was such a larger than life personality that Vince feels they could not possibly sum up his life with one documentary. Another reason could be that he has been deceased for so long. They have nothing to promote, good or bad, with Andre.

Clash of the Champions. ..they were celebrating 20 years on tbs...I think Yes that was the WCW event he was in. He Didn't wrestle in that event though. It was more of a cameo appearance

On a day like his bday, the Network really should come up with unique stuff and run Andre material for six or so hours and you know; be an actual channel. I am so bored of their same old stale material. Even the new stuff is stale. It's just not like a channel like other networks that actually run features that are relevant to things happening. The Network doesn't do enough of this.
