There's nothing wrong with tribute bands. They strive to be as accurate as possible. Elvis impersonators are hit and miss Elvis impersonators are playing someone that the public can no longer see. Bands like this are playing people can still go see and are touring. There's a difference. There's a Trans=Siberian Orchestra Tribute Band called 12-24 that always does a show in my town at Christmastime. They sound just like the real thing. My mom and my cousin saw both bands and they are hard to tell apart

I can't stand Elvis impersonators for the most part because I actually like Elvis and they are doing such an over the top caricature that people who have never actually watched the man perform see and then think that's what he was. One of the greatest entertainers of all time gets reduced to a fat guy with a bad wig or bad dye job flopping around yelling dur dur dur thankyerverymurch. Sorry for that tangent. Carry on.
