Hell yes! I have the Bruce Lee and it is one of the nicest figures I've ever owned. The poseability will be insane and the likeness and paint apps will be through the roof. Not dissing on Mattel, they make great work for their price point. These are probably gonna be around $50 each. The likeness is incredible. I'd be really excited to see these

Hopefully this goes over well enough and they get approval for Japanese stars. Ultimo Dragon, Hayabusa, Tiger Mask, and Jushin Lyger would be awesome.

Double joints....yes I will do it. I think these are in 6 inch scale like Marvel Select and Marvel legends....maybe. They're smaller. This is probably the tallest SHF I own and he's quite a bit shorter than HBK.

I hope they are able to make championship belts as well. Yeh and as this line expands, actually bother to work out a deal to make classic WCW belts too since it's clear Mattel can't won't. Hopefully Figuarts will take steps to solve the actual problem (e.g. actually reach out to the belt rights holders), rather than acting like the problem is the fans asking for WCW belts and how to shut them up purely with vague and dismissive answers (e.g. "we don't have the rights" or "we've already answered this"). Strangely enough you don't get the rights to anything without actually asking or attempting to negotiate a deal.

As with the Star Wars line don't judge the face sculpts until you have the figure in hand. Some of them don't photograph well for whatever reason, but when you have them in your hand they look amazing. Going off the recent marvel and Star Wars lines I would pre-order these if you can from Japan the secondary market can be brutal.

Idk their stuff is always out of scale and they are really expensive. If they look decent I might pick up certain guys but I'm staying with Mattel on these.

Anybody who was hoping these would be to scale with Mattel's figures, I hate to be the bearer of bad news:

Am I the only one that thinks that Stone Cold face sucks big time??
Everytime we get a premium wrestling figure, a load of fan boys get tent poles in their pants but seriously, Storm Collectables Hulk Hogan is the one company that have made a figure worth the price.
That goes for Mcfarlane, the horrible new Ultimate warrior statues, and now these. I guess you really do get what you pay for from HOT TOYS, they are DIFFERENT CLASS.

You are living in a dream world guys.
They are making arguably the biggest star in wrestling ever, and the biggest movie star in the world.
Who is going to pay 50$ for a Ron Simmons with WCW title?
No one in the world. Not even Ron Simmons kids.
I expect 8-10 characters at the very most.

Storm's Hogan is 5 months delayed... Comparing Hot Toys to Figuarts is a bad start. However, even Hot Toys has fallen victim to capitalism. They were under $200 only 2 years ago. The fact that Disney put them over, made Hot Toys raise their prices. McFarlane hasn't done much to suprise me since the 90's. Thats all factory issues. Figuarts is its own class. Giving us the high end feel to a smaller scale figure. I'm happy we have another option in the possible market of WWE figures. These will have way more accessories, details, and articulation. With that is a higher price.

They can't afford a failure.
As I said, you get what you pay for. Hot Toys remain at the same price in HK, it's the shipping and middle men that kill it for foreigners. I've managed hoeever to get some poorly selling figures for 120-130 quid such as Roadblock, Man Of Steel, Captain America and Amazing Spiderman.
There are other companies in the bracket. Mafex, I really like. But none of this changes the fact that Stone Cold's face looks nothing like the man. And for that reason....I'm out.

I don't know why, but the 3D printing and computer painting process they use tends to not photograph well at these shows. People were saying the same thing about the Star Wars Luke and obi-wan. However, when the figures arrived they were amazing and people were left paying double if not more on the secondary market. Who knows until we get them in hand though. You are 100% right about the mcfarlane and warrior statues such a let down.

I think you're pretty spot on here. Haven't done a spot count in my head yet but we may get more than 8-10. They'll likely be mainly mega stars from the 80s and 90s though. They've already said Rock, Austin, Cena, and Taker. That's 4 right there. I could definitely see Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage being made. Maybe Flair, Bret, and HBK. Andre would be really cool. Possibly Randy Orton and Triple H. This might be a reach but maybe an Attitude Era Jericho. Again though, I wonder exactly what this line is. Is it WWE or Pro Wrestling? If it's pro wrestling, maybe we can get Hogan, some Japanese stars (Not too familiar with most of them but I bet they'd go over huge.), maybe some Mexican stars (same situation as the Japanese). I'm very intrigued by this. I'm definitely still sticking with Mattel, but these will certainly be some nice extras to have on display or something. I hope Austin's vest is removable and I hope we get a more classic look for Taker.

If it's a wrestling line and not just a WWE line we good be in for some pretty sweet stuff all in the same scale same articulation etc. I don't know if the E would sign off on something like that, but it would be sweet. With Vince and co wanting a bigger presence in Asia I wouldn't be surprised if we got recent roster guys after Rock and Stone Cold. Probably Cena then HHH. I'm guessing they rotate after that going off past lines. HOF or mega star and current star.

Also I can't believe I forgot to mention Sting. I've also been looking at pics of they're Ultimate Muscle (Always forget the actual Japanese name) line. They can pull off some great moves with that articulation. Not sure how the licensing works but if this is a general wrestling line, maybe it's possible they are signing guys directly, and just going through the proper WWE channels to sign WWE stars.

Superior plastic quality + crisp paint apps + smooth as silk joints = tent pole in the pants. Honestly, SHF has really hurt my interest in most American toys. I can't take most of it seriously anymore. For example, I wouldn't touch any of the recent Mattel DC releases. I'd rather put the $20 to a higher quality figure.

Austin, Rock, Taker, Cena, and HHH are 100% guaranteed. Hogan if they allow it. Macho Man and Warrior would be a yes. Andre would be another. That may be it. Depending on sales, thats where we all come in, they may dive deeper into groups such as nWo. Which was a large part of not only North American wrestling, but was in Japan in the early 2000's as well as now with the Bullet Club. I just want some huge colorfull Japanese stars now. Mainly Hayabusa and Jushin Liger.
