Buy the NOD 2 pack and paint Farooq's hat pink. This is a good point but for a different one than you're saying. Obviously, Mattel could've used this already created accessory for Anvil's hat. For those saying they'd rather have the tag title, I get it and I'm not saying the pink hat is a better accessory than the classic tag titles, but for me personally, I already have like 4 sets of tag titles and I could've better used the pink hat. My main point though was saying to replace the pair of glasses with the hat; that I think would be a more fair trade-off, especially now realizing they've already got a hat that could've been used. It seems like an accessory that could've been included at very little additional cost to produce considering they already had the mold. But I wouldn't have sacrificed the belt for it, especially since Bret comes with one. How pissed would everyone be if Bret came with the belt and Anvil didn't and the reason was so they could include the hat?

Yes a pink hat that was a unique part of Anvil's attire. I suppose you prefer your figures with less identifiable accessories? So Mattel doesn't give us classic Tag Titles and we complain saying, "We need them! There are too many wrestlers we need them for!" So in the last year, Mattel gives us 2 Belts with Yoko, 1 with the 123 Kid and 2 with the Hart Foundation and we are gonna complain that we are getting classic Tag Titles?!?! This board is awesome at times! It's amazing how many people on this board like to put words into other people's mouths. It's also sad to see how many people miss the freakin point and focus on something totally fabricated. Never once did I complain about receiving the classic tag titles. I was complaining about NOT receiving the pink beanie. Instead of just complaining for the sake of complaining though, I offered a solution as to how my concern could've been alleviated and that was to replace the sunglasses with a pink beanie. I then mentioned that I, personally, would've been OK with them giving a pink beanie instead of a single tag strap to show how much I wanted the beanie. Apparently to some people that is the same as complaining that we are getting tag titles. If that's the type of logic and cognitive reasoning skills that reside inside your brain, my god do I wonder what else you misconstrue on a daily basis. Several? Two over the past year is several? No. That's two. Two is a couple. Three is a few. Four or more is several. Semantics. This here is exhibit B of people missing the point and just trying to start crap. But since you want to be a penis about it, fine, I'll go there. The very definition of several is "more than two but not many", look it up. Considering that Yokozuna, 123 Kid, and E43 Bret all have the classic tag titles that would make my use of the word several accurate. Include Anvil and that makes 4, but my point was made even by excluding Anvil. Fwitme Calm down, guy. You were exaggerating, I put my two cents in. I was giving you my interpretation of the term, as I and the people I interact with have used it for years. You said we've gotten, but we haven't got Anvil yet. So you're kinda wrong. Load up and fire back, slugger.

It always amazes me divisive that jacket is. It's probably my favorite accessory Mattel has released. Anyway, to the overall thread, wouldn't the pink hat be about 2-3 years later than the period portrayed by the figures? They look like 87/88 era to me. I think Bret's aviators are out of place. The outfits I believe are 1990-91. **Edit: Summerslam 1990 WM7 (1991) I agree. Those shades are his 80's look. Bill even said awhile back this set would be based off the 80's but this isn't the case which is fine I'm just saying.

The pink hat looks stupid. Rather have the belt.

I'm glad they released a classic look first, no interest in anvil with a jacket or that silly hat. I hope we get a laughing scan and an all black or black and blue version next.

Blue and black is my next Hart Foundation wish. I'd also love to see Andre in yellow. I'm glad they released a classic look first, no interest in anvil with a jacket or that silly hat. I hope we get a laughing scan and an all black or black and blue version next.

TBH I never saw Anvil much with that hat. It might please the obscure fans out there, but personally I'm happy with another tag belt. I'm happy we got Neidhart to begin with, so don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

When did Anvil ever wear the hat WITHOUT the rest of his entrance gear? Wouldn't that look a little strange to have the hat without the jacket? And there's no way we'd get both.

Bill even said awhile back this set would be based off the 80's but this isn't the case which is fine I'm just saying. One small but major detail is the fourth hart on Bret's right leg, one for each of his children. Bret's youngest (and fourth child) wasn't born until mid 1990 and his gear at SummerSlam didn't have the fourth heart added yet. Combine that with the "outlined" heart on the singlet and you have an attire from late 1990 and/or 1991. Whether Mattel realized it or not the fourth heart on Hitman's leg makes it a certainty. If Bill said these would be based off their 80s attire, they must've changed it up or didn't realize they actually made the 90/91 look.
