Neil Young is set to play now Like I said, it's a bunch of old farts for the Canadian line up. I see why some are calling it "Live Aged" Live aged thats good, Neil Yong called it Live Bait

I see why some are calling it "Live Aged" Don't ever bad mouth Neil Young or I'll have to pistol whip you. I didn't watch any of it, but had I of known Young was playing I probably would have just left the TV on the channel seeing as I was home all day and didn't watch anything on TV. The only other band I would have been interested in seeing is the Hip. I guess I'll just see if their sets are available online.

Overall I thought that Live 8 was good. I caught bits and pieces of it...all in all it was for a good cause and hopefully it sent a message.

I'm not dissing Neil Young, but but alot of the Canadian acts were older bands. The London sho was the best opne from what I heard. I was watching CTV hoping to see Coldplay but I only saw them sing "Bittersweet Syphony" with the guy from The Verve
