Could the Superstar Entrances Hulk Hogan be considered rare? He was pretty "hard to find" and then he was taken off shelves.

Brie and Nikki's separate basics were hard to get near me and were selling for silly money til the battle pack release. Other than those, none really. Did I mention I live within a mile of a Smyths toys superstore lol ; )

No mass produced figure has ever been or ever will be rare. Thank you!

Rare, but not worth much could go to B58 Paul Orndorff, he's .5ed and sells for less than msrp because that's where the demand is.

Hard to find and rare are different. For example it was hard for me to find Elite Balor at retail but he isn't rare because like all Mattel figures he is mass produced. The only ones that could be considered rare are two, one is Elite 16 Nash but it was still mass produced bit not as much were produced as the rest of the set. The only truly rare figure I think is SDCC Undertaker.

Clearly that wasn't really mass produced seeing that it was a TRU exclusive that TRU decided not to stock in any of their US stores. So how can that be considered a mass produced line when it was a store exclusive that the retailer decided not to carry in 95% + of their stores? I forgot that it was a TRU exclusive. Sorry about that! That first Paul Bearer set is still warming shelves at my local TRU in the UK. I'm sick of seeing them. Sucks for you guys in the US who never got them

Nash wasn't any rarer than Diesel seeing they were a fifty fifty split in e16. The problem was some areas only received the Diesel case while others only received the Nash case. I saw at least 18 of Diesel, but only 2 Nash. Meanwhile I had a friend in Buffalo who only saw Nash cases.

But I did get my Nash that way, and it was the only time I saw it.

Rarity and being in demand are two very different things. Look at case breakdowns, that determines rarity. Secondary market prices are an indicator of being in demand.

Any WWE figure can be considered rare in New Zealand where I live. We haven't had Elites since 2011 and we don't usually get Basics. When Basics do show up, they are usually $30 each.

Drax Shadow and the prototype Magnum TA would probably be considered the rarest figures honestly.

I've never seen Elite 40 and 41 besides Umaga and Dean Ambrose. I need a Zayn and Balor, lol.
