Gotta say, Sunderland played quite well against City. Spurs don't convince me and neither does Everton. Now I sit nervous and wait for 4pm. No Özil,Kos or Giroud. Gonna be a rough one I imagine.

Sick matchday programme cover to be fair. Granit will blast it from 40 yards out and win the game in the 89th minute. Please? Edit: His name is Granit, not Grant. Wake up Chili.

Gotta say, Sunderland played quite well against City. We played very well, granted they had something like 77% possession but speaks volumes when after about an hour I knew it was a matter of time we were going to score, I've never felt so confident in ages. City though, Pep has got a big job on his hands. He has to get new fullbacks in to play what he's been doing with Barca and Bayern, they are far too slow for it hence there being massive gaps in the defence when we scored.

The gap when you scored was because Stones pushed forward instead of covering that gap. That was Stones fault, not Clichy or Sagna's.

Ok but even so, i though we had Gooch and van Aanholt linking up in some decent positions because of the fullbacks playing a bit high and centrally.

You'll probably end up around near 9-13 when the season is over. But you'll get trashed at the Emirates. Big time. Alexis double-hat trick.

Doubt it, we play at the Emirates in April when you've already bottled chances of winning the league.

Chambers-Holding at the back. If they play like they did in pre season, this will be fantastic.

Game of the season might be wrapped up on the first weekend.
Some fantastic stuff at times from Liverpool especially.

What a game today. I didn't think Arsenal played that well in the first half, Liverpool were just shocking. I don't even know how to describe how bad Moreno is. Shocking tackle o give the pen then woefully out of position.
Coutinho's free kick was something else and I expected Liverpool to come out strong.p, didn't expect it to be that good though. All the goals were fantastic, epecially Mane's, who I thought had a great game. Also really impressed with Origi when he ca,e on. Exactly what we needed at that point after allowing Arsenal back into the game. The Premier League is back folks.

Wow Liverpool won the opening game, that will be them no doubt lifting the league title and most likely somehow being asked into the Champions League and winning that too! There is no more delusional fans than Liverpool fans lol. Still with that being said, it was one hell of a game.

Getting out of bed this morning was rough. Remembering that I support a club with no ambition was worse.

Still played better than any of Arsenal's players other than Koscielny.
