I gotta say that this is one of the few times Mattel out did Jakks scans, but I'm curious hot the Jakks arms will fit on the Mattel body?

I think both Mattel sculpts are vastly superior to the Jakks head. By a lot.

I gotta say that this is one of the few times Mattel out did Jakks scans, but I'm curious hot the Jakks arms will fit on the Mattel body? That's just wrong. Jakks scans have been far overrated for so long. Mattel beats them nearly every time. Nah, I gotta agree with Hitman1072. Jakks scans are nearly always far better than Mattel's, but this Andre is absolutely an exception.

I love how these threads looking for advice immediately become crapting on JAKKS for no reason. It's like crapting on SEGA's inability to make a current say console. Who cares? They're gone. You're attacking a target that doesn't exist.

I admit, my initial excitement over the Jakks Andre all those years ago was a bit tempered by the head sculpt. I did my best to doctor it up myself, including sideburns, and eventually switched that head to one of the later Andre bodies, like so: But Jakks hit it out of the park when they came out with the afro Andre. Until this latest attempt by Mattel, I hadn't seen another sculpt to equal that one. Now Mattel's getting the idea, and they're giving the fans what they're lookin' for!
